Free at last!
I should write a disclaimer. I in no way mean any harm by what I write about Kuri or Fangli. I love both of them to death and still and always think the world of them. I just got to see a different side I've never seen before so was a bit shocked is all. /huggles and kisses
Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty I am free at last!! Yesterday was my last physical therapy appointment for my knee. /does a happy dance I still have to do at home exercises, but I no longer have to go in. On the down side since I'm still having upper back problems my physical therapist suggested when I see my doctor to see if she thinks physical therapy for my upper back would be a good thing to try. It sucks I have to wait a week to find out. It also sucks that I won't have the same physical therapist. She was totally cool and very fun to be around and work with...although slave driver would not be an overstatement. XD She recommended one of her co-workers to me though who's a specialist of sorts or something who seems very very nice. :)
I was reading Kuri's blog a few days ago, you can find the link to her bloggy under the SnS Blog Ring to your left, and was kind of surprised that she had given up on finding the one. I know what a devoted Christian she is and so it was a bit surprising. I never was and all of my beliefs on love come from my mom and reading far too many Jane Austin novels when I was little, a sad and yet true reason. Considering how young she is I was a bit shocked to see her give up so early on in life. Then again I gave up at 18. I mean how long was I supposed to wait?? God answered me by putting my boyfriend and I together three weeks later. :) I’m no where close to a devote anything. I find all religions corrupt and wrong in many ways. I feel if you can’t follow and live by all the rules you shouldn’t be able to call yourself a follower of that belief. Yeah I know pretty strict, but it’s just the way I feel.
I was also very shocked to see her cussing in her latest blog. I've never "seen" her cuss before so it was kind of a shock. Almost as much of a shock as when I found out how much of a pervert my sweetie Fangli is! I mean...just wow. I guess it came from the Which character from Bleach are you thread in the forum(a very veryyyyyy old thread). I of course got the naïve, happy go lucky, blah blah blah one. I even cheated and I still got that one! /pout When someone got one that had pervert as a characteristic and I said I'd trade and Fangli was surprised. I guess ever since then I just saw her through rose colored glasses. Kitty though gave me a new set in the Pervert Club thread where we're voting for the Great Priestess by giving examples of how perverted she really is. What an eye opener! Makes me wonder how "tainted" my sweet Suke is! XD I feel like a mother who found porn under their bed. <_<
Any who, totally got off topic, but have you checked out my sweet lil' imotou's bloggy? Aren't her bentos just so yummy?? I've always wondered though, are bento's microwave safe? Do people really eat their food cold? /shudder I HATE eating food that should be hot or warm cold. YUCK! :P She ended up not getting the cute Pink Butterfly bento box, but the one she got is very cute. :) I've been thinking of maybe buying the Pink Butterfly one, but we'll see. It is rather expensive. I was telling my "friend/sensei/whatever you want to call him" about the bento box and how much it was. He said that's very expensive and to not pay that much. I might end up getting the blue one with the cute white bunnies instead, but the Pink Butterfly one definitely fits me more I think. We'll see. He's going to Japan again the beginning of next month, sometimes I think he tells me just so he can hear, "Oh my God you're SOOOO lucky!!" He said if he has time to go into that kind of shopping area he'll see if he can find one for me. I reminded him of the price range I could pay so here's to hoping he'll find something! Time to get back to work since my break is over and my head is killing me.

My mom always did say not to stare at people...
Now it's not a habit of mine to stare at people. I find it rude so I always try not to do it, no matter what they might have on, look like, etc. I just couldn't help it this time though. So here I am in the parking lot going to a store and there's this guy on the bike I would give my left leg for if I wasn't such a gimp, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14. (For those of you who were able to read my blog on that I'm sure you know how much I love it.) It looked just amazing. I mean totally blow my mind away beautiful. I've never seen one THAT close before so I was probably drooling a little too. :) hehehe
So here I am sitting in my car just starring at this bike, who has the rider still on it, not moving like I should be or anything thing. The lines, curves, color and style just calling out for me to check it out. I finally come to my senses and I quit starring and find a place to park. Well...*cough* it seems the owner thought I was checking HIM out. Um...yeah... How do I know this? Oohhh because since he thought I was checking him out he parked and called out to me. It was SOOOO mortifying! I mean how do you explain to a guy that you weren't checking him out and that he could be a troll for all you cared, but damn he has a sweet bike! Luckily for me I was able to smile and put the convo on track to his bike. It was really interesting listening to him since even though the reviews are by people who've got to ridden it it's not really first hand. Most aren't taking it out on the streets and stuff where I would ride it. Sadly though I wasn't good or mean enough to outright tell the poor guy "Dude it was your bike, not you." so I ended up with his phone number since I made the wonderful excuse of having to get my shopping done.
So there you have it readers! The number 1 rule of why you shouldn't stare at people! It's not because it's rude. It's not because "your face will stay that way". It's because guys/girls might think you're looking at THEM when you're really checking out their ride! I've learned my lesson and I will never ever EVER be doing that again. God I'm sure I turned bright red...I about died!!
Well onto other not mortifying news! I've read half of my Our Kingdom volume 3 so far and the translations are pretty good. I'm not so surprised since it seems yaoi publishers have better translators or something, but it's a nice feeling knowing I'm buying something that I won't have to push myself through to finish. I've only read the first chapter of volume 4 of Antique Bakery, but it's getting REALLY good! I suggest if you liked the series when Beautiful Soup was doing it then you buy the volumes. It really is very well worth the money!! :) Also the wonderful Cyn has given me TWO more wallpapers of Jun! YUUUMMMM!!! I've traded out the darker one from the forum as my home desktop. Just sooo many pics to drool over!! XD He is just so seriously good looking! Well that's it for today. I'm going to head in very early tomorrow to do my Starbucks and manga "chilling" before work again. This time I need to remember to bring my cell phone in with me so I don't have to just guess when it's 15 'til. XD
