lunes, 10 de abril, 2006 When the newscaster teased me with Gwyneth's new son's name as "Biblical" I joked, "Moses? Haha!" Well, wtiness my completely open, drooling mouth as they returned and said HIS NAME IS MOSES. I am not a Coldplay fan, so I didn't know he wrote a song of the same name; I thought Biblical as normally Biblical, like, Michael, Jacob, Noah, or Jesus.

"If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, here's what you would have:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere (both north and south)
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be non-white
30 would be white
70 would be non-Christian
30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual
6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's wealth, and all 6 would be from the United States.
80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth
1 (yes, only 1) would have a college education
1 would own a computer."
If there is a Phillip M Harter, MD of Stanford University, School of Medicine, he's forgetting the people's ages.

I've been having a recurring dream this week: somehow I get free plane tickets and I keep asking to go to the Caribbean. When I get there, I just stand on the beach in my regular clothes (e.g., jeans) and then I go home. In my mind, I am yelling at my dream self, "PICK A COOLER PLACE, LIKE BRAZIL OR THE ADIRONDACKS!!!!" I have nothing against the Caribbean, I just think Brazil and the Adirondacks are cooler.

Edit: 24 tonight - OMG! Edgar! ;_; C. Thomas Howell! :)
Next week: how does nerve gas eat through a seal made of rubber, I'm presuming?

And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night,
And he’s watching us all
With the eye of the tiger...

After all these months experiencing unseasonal warmth, we get a blizzard. The snow is accumulating so fast you couldn't find the footprints of a stalker lurking in the snow after five minutes. This is the New York I know.
Edit: Record-breaking snowfall (26.9''), w00t. Take that, 1947!
I've had del.icio.us for a while now, but it's still empty. I don't know if I have time for it. I want to add stuff. I have lots of stuff to add, actually, if I can dig up some old files on my hard drive. It's got an RSS feed! RSS feeds are my new crack. "Is this the free crack giveway?!" (Hehe, Dave Chappelle.)
Okay, I'm going to sleep. For real this time. For every hour of sleep I lose, the closer my complete transformation to the Queen of the Harpies.

But what will happen when the moon finally escapes the clutches of our gravitational pull and the Earth spins faster than Superman can do anything about it, speeding up time and ruining our calendars as we know it??
I think this year had the nicest-looking envelopes I ever received (pardon my phone of crappiness):
Sumin shiny, son
I usually throw them away after a few months, but I'm going to keep these for posterity or until they get wrinkly and turn to dust.
I was reading an old entry; how the hell did I get $465 last year??? Curious, indeed....
