Sorry for the slight technical problem just now, I accidentally pressed enter.

My days are mundane, school, hostel, online, - homework, chatting, listening to songs, reading manga. Well, I joined a few clubs.. I’ll just ditch them when I’m busy.. I think I’ll be able to learn a thing or two. Though, looking at Buddhi, who’s taking CIMP too, it’s scary.. she’s busy almost all the time. Well, I shall cross the bridge when I come to it. I’m pretty homesick right now.. It’s raining almost everyday, like back in Taiping, and I got drenched in rain again on Sunday.. Maxie asked, why am I homesick while I dreaded home just a few weeks ago.. It’s because I miss Grandma’s cooking, not needing to worry that I’ve overspent, doing laundry, and going to buy groceries.. My groceries list is always: fruits, milk, juice, bread and another item or two which I think I want to eat or I need. Hey Ben.. did you happen to buy some chewing gum and it went missing when you guys brought me here? There’s a packet of chewing gum in my place.

Though it’s nice staying here, I don’t know when I’ll be able to go back, even though it’s just 4 hours away. Let’s get homesick together! LOL! And talking about home.. Guess what? My Harry Potter, will be going home without me... Just waiting for my mother to show up and take it away... along with the stupid owl... Oh wait... not stupid owl.. the Hedwig plushie. And in 2 weeks time.. my Eclipse will arrive.. I might just spend the weekend at Uncle Aundrey’s as I’m sure I won’t let go of the book once I start reading it. Oh my Edward... I just can’t wait to read what Bella says when you ask her that question... I wonder would she get so angry and just slap him.. but on a second thought.. Who’d have the heart to slap dear Edward... except Jacob and his gang, Mike, and Charlie, I guess. I’ve been reading XXXholic lately, it’s pretty interesting.

Well, that issue with my roomie, I’ve told her in a way that she won’t suspect that I’ve overheard her and her friend: “Hey.. If I’ve done something that you don’t like or offended you, please tell me because I like to do weird stuff and I sometimes won’t notice that I’ve offended someone.” And she said “Oh! No, we’re roommates, we’re supposed to tolerate each other.” =_=” Well, whatever, I’ve warned her and if she doesn’t want to listen to me, it doesn’t matter. By the way, I dropped my phone the other day and now it’s crazy, it switches off whenever it likes and I’ve so many bottles with me right now, thanks to buying yogurt drinks, I’m going to dump them in the recycle bin in school. Too bad, there’s no recycle bins in the hostel.

There's this cultural thing going on tonight and all my housemates, except my roomie, of course, are going.. but I'm yet to decide if I want to go or not.. Or I could call up Ivan and ask him if he want to spend sometime with me. =/ not sure.. I want to watch Licence to Wed.. though.. I don't know when will it be out in Malaysia.

So.. I didn't sleep like for 40 hours... Doesn't matter, let me share the interesting things which happens when thing doesn't go according to plan.

I can't sleep at all after I typed the previous, so I texted Gabriella and we decided to go out in 10 minutes.. And that happened to be 3.30AM. We met up on the ground floor of our hostel and we didn't know if we could go out then as the gate was closed and we don't see any taxis outside.. I spotted one.. but.. we decided that we should wait a while before we head out. We sat by the pool and talked.. Books, hoodies, clubs, teachers... High School...

It was 4.30AM and we decided that we really don't know how crazy the fans here are, so we decided to head out. We went to the main gate, and we asked the guard

Me: Hey.. Can we go out right now?
Guard: No.
Me: Why not?
*Guard hands me a piece of paper*
*I read*
Me: This doesn't say anything about going out.. it just says that we can't come back after 3AM.
----No reply----
Me: Hey.. excuse me..
Guard: If you want to go out, I'll take hostel card.
Me: What? Why??
--- Continued to be ignored----
*Me and Gabriella walked away while commenting loudly that he was rude*
Me: Let's try the back gate.
Gabriella: OKay...

Well, the guard at the back gate was SOOOOOO much better than the one at the front gate. He explained why we can't go out at this time and we can only go out after 6AM and stuff like that.. So we hung around at the benches.. then Gabriella's bro came back... and he was like "You people are crazy! OMG! My sister is crazy! bla bla bla" Part of their conversation in Indon is still stuck in my head right now. So, we ended up like only going at 6.30AM and the line wasn't really that long but long enough for us to only get the book at around 7.45, which is 45 minutes after the store opens. I heard these reporters saying that those people in front, came as early as 4AM.. So.. it does mean that IF me and Gabriella were able to get out of that place when we want to, we could've got the extra discounts and a free book.. And I ended up with the stupid owl instead..

I came back and lodged a complaint about the guard.. I'm here for like 3 weeks? I've been down to the office quite a number of time.. Doesn't matter.. I'm not going to tolerate with people who are rude. And the guy at the office told me that it is written in the book that we can't go out before 6AM and after midnight.. No.. I've read about the late night passes and there's nothing mentioned about being locked in this place from midnight to 6AM.

Anyway, enough about that... it's not like I'm ever going to go out in the wee hours of the dawn again, because I'm going to get my Eclipse through mail.

The Book
Interesting, don't ask for spoilers, I'm not going to give anything away, go read it yourself. The ending is quite confusing though.. Too many names overlapping.. Happy reading!! I know I got the book earlier than you guys in the US.

I and Gabriella, are going to go to take the taxi to the Curve to try and get discounts for our Harry Potter and to win another Harry Potter book... High expectations and almost crazy, yes I know but, WISH ME LUCK!!! We're going to wake up at 5.30AM and take the taxi to The Curve at 6AM and Borders will open at 7AM. I don't know how crazy Harry Potter fans are here.. But I know the famous "waiting since midnight last night" or "camping outside of the store" queue at Kinokuniya always happens.. I hope it doesn't happen at the Borders I'm heading.. so WISH ME LUCK!!!

Okay.. that's all about the crazy plan.. Now, it's still 20th July here in NuTang so,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABRIELLA!!!

I spent the evening with Gabriella and her friends, Monica, Kat, Olyn, and Fina, we had Japanese at Zen's in Pyramid.. It was okay, I finally tried Kitsune Udon.. and it was nice.. I saw this nice hoodie at Topshop, it's on like 75.. they don't have my size, so I'm going to like go and find at the other Topshops.. Don't worry Mum, it's white..

I really had a fun day today.. I want to tell you guys so much about it but I'm so excited about my plan that I'll tell you guys tomorrow AFTER I finish the book. So, please be patient and stay tuned. And again, Wish Me Luck!

At last I’ve managed to made some time to blog.. I’ve been itching to blog something about this since this I’ve finished classes. It seems that my Eng4U class is getting too big for the teachers so they’re going to move students from the 2 and 3 period class to the 5 period. I certainly don’t want to be hanging around school for an hour and a half because I’d be alone and bored as usual but Ms Ford said that whether we like it or not, some students are going to change. She asked all of us who have the first period free to go see Mr Roslee, who’s in charge for out timetable changes after class, regardless if we have class or not after our English period. So I have to excuse myself from MDM to go see Mr. Roslee, I waiting in line for 10 minutes and decided that I’d better come back later. So when I came back after MDM, the queue was definitely shorter but Mr. Roslee was going to class so he told Mr Steven to handle everyone there and said “All those with Eng4U, change them to the 5 period” and walked out. Luckily it wasn’t my turn, I just turned and walked out of there. I hope they don’t change my timetable. I really like the class and my partner, Gabriella.

Shin Miin didn’t show up until yesterday night.. I just came back to my room after chatting with my other housemates when she and Olivia came back. There’s no big deal and everything until I was trying to sleep, and they started talking about me. I can’t hear the first part, so I thought they were just being polite until Kethi started laughing laudly and Shin Miin commented on how loud Kethi was and Olivia said “She always go and talk to them and the new Bangali housemate. They’ll always talk and then laugh, while I sit here, watching TVB Dramas and they’re really laud”. *whisper whisper whisper* change topic, then I fell asleep. See bing bean, I already told you that she’s kind of anti-social, now she has a problem with me, who as been really considerate and I do mean considerate, like not making noise when she was sleeping, helping her keep her clothes when it rains, sweep the floor, eat outside of the room because there are ants in our room, I even went out to boil water this morning because she is sleeping and agreeing to live in another person who certainly are not supposed to be here. The best part is, she is not her almost ALL the time. I’m always the one in the room and she always comes back around midnight lately. Not forgetting that she ALWAYS don’t lock the main door. I feel like creating my own screen saver which says “IF you have a problem with ME, tell ME, and don’t BITCH about it to your friend!” then leave my computer on and let her read this. I totally don’t have anything against someone who’d tell me that I need to improve myself and stuff, I just really don’t like it when you just talk behind my back like that. Furthermore, I know that both Buddhi and Kethi are a little loud sometimes, all you need to tell them and they’d completely understand. They’re very friendly and understanding. I don’t care, from now on, I’d do what I want in this room because it’s effin MY room too. I certainly can’t wait till Estrella-chan comes here so I won’t be here, looking after her stuff all the time and if Uncle Aundrey is going to fetch me to go take my Harry Potter this weekend, I’d ask him if I can stay over at his place for the weekend, I’m not going to give them a chance to borrow it from me or even to ask IF they can borrow it from me. Well, can't really blame them that I'm so naive now, can I?

Today’s Sunday, the 15th.. I thought that Friday the 13th is unlucky for certain people.. I’d just play along for fun but... today... let me tell you of my story...

I woke up a little past nine, listening to my roomie’s alarm clock go off with the funny song in Cantonese as always. Feeling like I’ve had enough sleep, I woke up to another boring day thinking “maybe I shall catch that free shuttle to 1U today” while taking my bath.. Ahh.. I thought of Subway and what a great place it will be for me to window shop and waste my day away. After 15 minutes of intense planning about how to stop the bus without getting mowed down by the other vehicles...

Olivia: Are you going out today?
Me: Planning to.. why? *blink blink*
Olivia: My friend, Shin Miin will be coming over again today around 3pm. I can’t give her my hostel card because I’ll be back late due to my work and I need it.. I gave her your number so that when she comes and needs the hostel card, you can loan her yours.
Me: Oh.. Okay, I’ll be back by 3.. Right.. I forgot all about her

As I look out my window, I see the mini bus which I’ll be taking to Carrefour pass.. Okay.. I have half an hour, maybe I should start ironing my clothes.OUCH! I scorched the skin a little over my knees while ironing and realised that my half an hour is about to be over.. As I head out.. I noticed that the sky is dark.. There are always dark clouds in the sky but it never rains.. I hope it wont.. or maybe I won’t rain heavily. I waited for another 10-15 minutes for the mini bus to show up, chatting with the security guard about the bus services as I waited.. Ah! The bus is here.. I took one last look up to the sky. After only 5 minutes on the bus, the rain started to fall heavily.. Darn! Hope it’ll stop before I get there! It got heavier and heavier, and when I reached my destination, the bus conductor asked “do you have a jacket?” I smiled meekly and said no, while cursing my dumb luck because it rained on the day I wore white. As I ran into the store, people were looking at me, in fact, this cleaner who was near the door just stood there like a statue, looking at me. I was temporarily dazed and wanting to just disappear, I hastily started walking without knowing where I'm heading. After realized that Carrefour is at the other end of the place, I had to turn back... Oh shit! I left my money in my room back at the hostel! that was my thought as I passed the ATM machine. there’s someone there, I’ll withdraw from the other one beside McDonalds. Yea, and I’ll have a chicken foldover too, at least that will keep me full throughout the day. This sign was on the screen when I reached the ATM: “OUT OF SERVICE” and I was told: “sorry, we don’t have the foldover here, we only have the normal burgers” when I reached McD. Feeling utterly pathetic, I ordered a medium McChicken McValue Meal, found a seat far away from the air condition vent and left a miss call on my mum’s phone.

I’m cutting the conversation short.. because the first part was a recap of the events today.
Me: I’m not sure if I can get fruits here because the last time I only saw mangosteens.
Mum: Oh... you won’t want to know how much mangosteen there is at home.
Me: =.=” You are eeeevvvvviiiiiiilllllll!!!
Mum: Hahaha! Dad says to drink room temperature water..
Me: Room temperature? Does he mean 21 degree celcius water?
Mum: No, drink warm water = boil water.

As I paid for my groceries, I realised that I need to pee.. and the old couple who’s paying after me at the cashier looked at me like I’m going to steal the stuff that they’re about to pay!! WTH?? Just because I’m alone and am a little slow, it doesn’t mean that I want anything that you’re going to pay for. I left my groceries at the customer services to go to the loo and went outside to see that the rain has stopped.. I splashed my way to the bus stop to find a bus is already there and it might move at anytime. I quicken my pace, which means more dirty water made contact with my feet, as I try to catch the bus, upon reaching the steps I look up to the driver and said “sunway condo” and he looked at me.. “tak pergi(not going there)?” I asked, and he shook his head. I retreated back under the shade of the bus stop while wondering when will the number 66 bus come.. The bus arrived in 5 minutes and I got up and reached back in under 25 minutes.It hurts whenever I rub my nose.. I wonder why because I cannot find any pimple on the surface of my nose, as I got into my room, I gently put a finger up my nose and immediately found that tender spot where a pimple should be and I’ve been waiting for Shin Miin to text me or call me as I’m typing this for over an hour and a half... I wonder if she’ll show up today...

By the way, I don't plan to watch Harry Potter, and thanks to those who gave me their feedback on the movie.. I think I'm going to save up to pay for my pre-order next week and as I like the character, Sirius Black, and not Gary Oldman, very much, I don't think watching him die is going to make me happy.. Ahh.. which reminds me, I need to ask Uncle Aundrey if he can fetch me there next Saturday.

Yes, you've got it right.. this entry is about my housemates. I curently have 2 from Sri Lanka and 1 from Bangladesh. Oh.. I saw a new one yesterday but she doesn't look like she's moving in yet.. but I'm pretty sure that one's a local.. There's supposed to be 7 people to a unit here, my unit's only up to 5... 6 if you want to count the one who's yet to move in.

It started yesterday evening after class, I felt a little bored so I went to talk to one of the Sri Lankens, Buddhi, and in no time, we were laughing and laughing and laughing.. I don't think I laughed as much as yesterday since I came here. We were talking about our CIMP lecturers, which is funny, strict, and about their attitudes.. Then there's this one which was about Mr. Owen.. He comes into class one day, all red, sweaty and with his tongue out.. and said:

Mr Owen: I just finished eating lunch at this Indian shop and my is the food spicy. Bhoodi : "Spicy? No sir, the food here is not spicy at all!"
Mr Owen: "Not spicy??!! Okay.. Never mind, I'll be eating there again tomorrow anyway.

Then we proceeded to talk about home and stuff and we really did laugh hell of a lot.. Then later that night, me, Anita, Boodhi and ..er.. I didn't really catch her name.. sat down and starting chatting again.. It first started to be about the internet connection, Anita can't sign into her MSN at all but the other works fine and me and the others were laughing at her because ours work perfectly fine.. Bollywood movies, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitha Bachan and then about forced marriage and extended family members' opinion about our weight, then it turned to Troy and Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom, then about horror movies and then Harry Potter, do you prefer reading the book or watching the movie, a little of Johnny Depp and then we realised that it was 2am.. and Anita has classes to attend tomorrow.. so we went to bed.. Haha! They're really fun to be with.. maybe one day we'll go catch a movie or two together.. and that's a little about my housemates. By the way, there's this funny thing, Anita is thin and in Bangladesh, being thin means that you're not from a very well off family.. Anita's parents was like: "eat more, you're so thin". Then Buddhi said : "So if we(she and her cousin, Kethi) go to Bangladsh, they'll like us right?"
Anita: Yes..
Buddhi: Good because when we go back to Sri Lanka, our parents was like "why are you so fat? You must exercise, you must not eat outside food and not too much oily food".
Anita: Maybe we should change parents..
*everyone started laughing*


Oh by the way, today's Friday the 13th.. Anyone feeling terribly unlucky? Come to think of it, this is not the 1st time this year that the 13th day of a month falls on Friday, right? Oh.. I just hit my first bad luck, I went to campus to get my timetable to find the staffroom empty. Then I remembered, staff meeting = no one to give me my new timetable.
