For the second time this week, I have home-cooked food for the day. Mmm… Yummy!! I miss home-cooked food. I used to have them everyday a few years back but something happened so.. it was ready cooked food from some shop for a long time.. Why home-cooked food today? There were too much left over raw ingredients from Chinese New Year. I’m having sambal prawns, cabbage and pork sausages. Hmm.. How am I going to explain sambal to you guys..? Well, this is what I got from dictionary.com : a condiment or side dish of Indonesia, Malaysia, and southern India, made with any of various ingredients, as vegetables, fish, or coconut, usually seasoned with chili peppers and spices and served with rice and curries.

I’m loving my SDC forum, because now.. they have a personal photo gallery for those ranked silver and above. I’m a gold.. So now.. I have an alternative place for my pictures because I detest using photobucket, it’s slow.. So other than the NuGallery, I now can use the one in SDC. *jumps around with joy* Since I’m having some problems with my Friendster photo album, I’ve decided to upload my siggy into the NuGallery to avoid any unnecessary anger. I’m contemplating if I should slowly transfer my pictures from Friendster to other places just in case the whole album disappears when I want to save it all into my laptop.

Yes, I will get a laptop, it’s just a matter of time. *cross my fingers* nothing will go wrong with the 500 bucks I gave my mom to invest, nor my results. Okay, that’s all for now, take care and have a nice weekend. There shall be fireworks tomorrow night..

This whole post is about that nearly 4 weeks of work. There was practically nothing worth mentioning of the nearly 4 weeks except the funny and weird parts because I’ve already posted the angry parts here. So here goes.. Caryn, tell me if I’ve missed something and I’ll edit this post.

So, my job was just to wrap hampers, serve customers and keep the place clean. Occasionally, I will go to the storage place with my boss to take items to restock the shop and to keep the hampers we made for later use. So, that was all I do for nearly 4 weeks..

My boss.. talks to me and Caryn every now and then because we didn’t mix with the other guy until sometime 2 weeks later. My boss will come and talk to us and sometimes he was so funny that we can’t stop laughing after that. When there was a need to talk to the other guy, I was like a middle person there as Caryn don’t know Mandrin while the other guy don’t really know English. Sometimes, it’s hard because I don’t know what a certain word is in Mandrin or I don’t know what he’s trying to say and sometimes I was so fast that he can’t catch what I was saying. Sometimes, sign language works better..

One day, my boss asked Caryn..
Boss: “Why isn’t your name Almond? Since her name(he’s referring to me) is Hazell. It’ll be easier to remember your names since both of you are nuts.”
Caryn: “Why don’t we call you pistachio since you like to eat pistachios?”
From that day on, my boss is Pistachio. We call his wife.. Big B, while the girl in her shop, Small B and the other guy, LF. Big B stands for big bitch, small B is small bitch while LF is lazy fella. Why did we call him the lazy fella? Because he can do things slowly and laze around and never get caught or scolded because big B likes him so much! Yea.. one day, when Pistachio wasn’t around, she decided to flirt with him for a moment.. EEEWWWW!!! Even the facial hair on my cheeks was standing.

That day, Caryn wore a volleyball club tee to work and Pistachio asked: “You play volleyball?”
Me: Yea.. Why?
Pistachio: Maybe we can go play volleyball sometimes.
Me: I can only serve but I can’t play.
Caryn: I can play but can’t serve.
Pistachio: (to Caryn)Of course you can’t, you’re so short.. I used to be the national player for volleyball, you know? *Me and Caryn burst out laughing*
Caryn: You.. national player?
Pistachio: Why? Don’t believe me? Do you want me to show you my certificates?
Me: Ah.. Don’t need to.. Mr. National Player.. *continues laughing*

My boss have weird names for the junk food. The cheap potato chips are called “muruku”(a traditional Indian biscuit), those not so expensive ones are called “junk food” while the expensive ones are called “potato chips” or sometimes by the brand names. Some customers call chocolates “coco” while sparkling juice are “champagne”. Weirdly enough, they don’t give weird nicknames to liquors. Wrapping hampers with a layer of plastic is called “dress up”. One of his old workers call cellophane type “glass glue”. I was like “What?” but I pointed to him the place where they keep unused cellophane types anyway.

Okay, this is so boring and the funny ones are not funny anymore.. so I’ll stop here.. No more about that nearly 4 weeks of work.. I promise.

Anyway, I read something I offended me in one of my friend's chatbox just now and I'm pretty disgusted by how some people are just so cruel.. Snobbish bitch.

Oh yes, I’m back!! Jeez.. I miss you guys.. miss my anime and manga, miss my friends.. well, no point listing because it’ll be too long.. so, I miss everything I do when I’m not working! Well, I won’t be talking about my CNY celebrations because there’s only one word to it, BORING!! My cousins are not like any normal cousins, they’re snobbish, stuck up people.. The whole place was like a place where Chinese triad gangs meet every now and then.. They gang up and talk among themselves, ignoring the others… Jeez.. *rolls eyes* Thank god I brought my Ipod with me and one good thing, there was absolutely nothing out from those nasty aunts. Yay!!

Hmm.. what’s there for me to share with you guys? I have no idea yet, but I’m currently writing an essay.. for fun.. since I don’t have much to do. Oh right, I lost weight when I was working.. That’s one plus out of the many bad stuff. I’ve been eating and sleeping for the past 3 days and I have a feeling that I’ll gain back all I’ve lost.. =.=”

Anyway, I plan to buy myself a watch and a new purse with my pay of 500 bucks.. I wonder if I should keep the money and withdraw the money I have in the bank to buy a new digital camera instead since I’d love to take loads of pictures but I worry if I would leave it to rot after buying because I tend to do that..

Rumors have it that my SPM results will be out on either the 28th of this month or on 11th March. I wonder if I will have sleepless nights as time pass.. But anyhow, I will still enjoy myself! I’ll be watching Kyou Kara Maou! On Youtube for the next few days, go up to Penang, and online more often because I know that my ex-schoolmates will never ask me out anywhere. That’s why it’s weird whenever they ask me out.. because it’s something so rare that I feel uncomfortable when they do that.

Well, I went out with Estrella-chan today, went to get her nails done, then McD for ice-cream and then to Pizza Hut for pizza.. I didn’t eat much.. I was afraid that I’ll gain back all the weight I lost during work. Anyway, there’s a few more days before she’s back in the NS camp, so I can still online and talk to her.. And she said she might be going to study in America.. She'll be taking biotech.. No.. Don't leave me here alone.. *burst into tears* Take me with you!!

My uncle(the one which I like) came back with an Apple laptop.. Which is equipped with loads of functions that I want in the laptop I’m going to get my mom to buy me(which entirely depends on my SPM results). Jeez, everyone was saying: “We’ll see how’s your results” when I say I want something.. =_=” He said that he might get me one if I can get straight A’s.. Well, I’m not Hu May Ling(my school’s top student), so I can’t say that I’m sure to get straight A’s in my SPM.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!! As expected, I'm officially off from work.. Yes, that hell on earth is no longer my hell on earth.. I'll be back there tomorrow morning for my pay.. I'm back to haunt everyone of you *laughs evilly*

Anyway, I plan to post one special blog on the work I had for around 3 weeks and I'll be updating myself with whatever everyone's up to. I got myself a pedicure and nail art today, and... er.. I actually have something else to tell you guys but I forgot.. maybe due to lack of sleep. So, that's all, have a nice weekend and once again, happy CNY to all my lovely friends who celebrate it.

As all of you know, it's Valentine's day tomorrow.. Though love is not in my air, I'd like to wish everyone Happy Valentine's day. It was a pretty slow day at first at work but as evening came, it was hectic because my boss' wife who's a florist, decided to only start wrapping the roses there and then.. So I had to run all over the place, helping Caryn with the roses and wrapping the hampers at the same time.. And I found out something.. Caryn is a workaholic!! Oh my god! She refused to eat dinner just because Alice(my boss' wife) said that she was slow! And she's working till 12AM today.. I was the only one going home at 10PM today.. Oh, I don't give a damn, I don't need the money anyway.. Well, Caryn got to touch flowers after all(and she was super happy about it) because there're 4 workers in that huge place... one is stuck in the shop while the others are busy running around with flowers.. So my boss was having almost no help at all with his hampers.. I sneaked back some red berries look a like.. I wanted to snap a picture and post it here but er.. the camera suck in taking pictures of objects... Well, that explains why I don't put much pictures I take myself here.. and.. It rained a whole lot today! <3~~ I love the rain!! Oh right, for you boyfriends, who wants to get your girlfriends something not of flowers for Valentines, please do so a day or two earlier and not a few hours before the day starts! Or maybe this last minute thing only applies to Malaysians.. But whatever, plan early and don't just run amok to the florist a few hours before to get stuff for your girlfriends!
EDIT: I forgot all about this until I read lazypuppy's post.. There was a guy who bought a lot of white lilies for his girlfriend and the way Alice arranged it(I bet she looked up in a book beforehand) and it was so pretty! I wanted to take a picture of it but.. as usual, no camera.. I wished Maxie was there to take pics.. Oh by the way, I put up some pictures in my galery.. It was taken from Maxie.

Anyway, I saw this nice skirt in the supermarket today.. it's only 40 bucks! I wanted to buy it but I think it'll only end up rotting in the cupboard like the one I bought last year.. I only wore that 3 times in the last year. I don't know if I should buy it.. =/ The colour is black and the length is just right for a someone as short as I am.

I have 4 more days to go!! My aunts and uncles from my mom's side will be back soon.. I want to spend loads of time with them if possible.. I'll skip work evem if I have to.. I simply don't give a damn.. My mom said that I weren't fast enough to counter whatever my boss said.. well, I was too busy being annoyed to bother, I just complain loudly in front of the customers..

Okay, I'll stop here, my mom wants me to sleep early so that I can help her with the housework.. Love you guys!! *hugs*

I’m going to quit from my job.. soon(most probably on the 15th), my mom wants me to help her with the overwhelming housework.. I’m glad, though the boss is nice and everything, I feel like he likes the other workers more than me and my friend.. He’ll complain that I’m slow and I daydream while working and stuff.. but he doesn’t say anything when those two do all that! I actually told him I want to quit on Wednesday because of something that happened that afternoon but he refused to let me..

Well, on Wednesday afternoon, there was this old couple who came and chose the contents of the hamper they want to buy.. so I had to make way for the stupid bitch my boss call wife to do that.. because she’s the only one capable of doing that.. 3 people can’t fit in the small table.. There was around 6 people at the table just to wrap the hamper, so I waited patiently for her to finish while looking out for potential customers.. Suddenly that stupid bitch said to me in Hockien(a Chinese dialect): “Why aren’t you doing your job?” and then asked the other guy working with me in Mandrin: “She don’t know how to wrap them?” I don’t know what to guy replied but she then scolded me!! She said: “There’s so many things to do and you just stand there looking?” in front of the customers who were very curious on how she wrapped their hamper! I replied in an unusually calm tone: “Because you needed the space just now.” I mean WTF? You scold me because you used up all the space available? Even Caryn was having a hard time doing ribbons at that table! Earlier that day.. I was scolded by her for doing work “slowly” I was just picking up after that guy who ran off to do something else in the middle of his job! It was HIS work and I got scolded just because I was doing his job while talking top Caryn and again IN FRONT of the customer! Oh by the way, she’s the fucking bitch who only takes care of the rich customers who she can slaughter! And that morning, she commented that I was slow in wrapping 6 hampers in an hour.. IF she is so fucking clever in doing this, fucking wrap this yourself and you don’t need to even hire anyone of us! Maxie’s been telling me to quit for about a week.. but I pity my boss because I know that he’s having a hard time with 3 workers and things are going to get worst as CNY draws near.. but now I obviously don’t care because I got scolded for nothing, me and my friend was bullied by that fucking bitch because we cannot speak Mandrin well and we are always treated unfairly. I seriously think that what Maxie said this morning was true.. They just want me to help them till CNY and I should not give in and just quit so that the situation gets worst for them(sorry Caryn, I have to admit this). And if those two are so god damn good, they can handle everything and anything you dump to them.. Though I think Caryn will be bullied more when I quit but there’s nothing I can do, she won’t quit no matter what happens and how much she complains, I’ve figured out it’ll turn that way so no point talking to her about it any longer.. if she wants, she would’ve quit a long time ago.

That’s all for now, I don’t want to be all furious because of this again.. I was so furious while typing this last night that it took me an hour longer to fall asleep and my mom’s making chocolate chip cookies!! Yummy!

Edit:He doesn't allow me to quit! Even when my mom told him that I'm much needed at home.. I seriously am because the 3 men in my house aren't doing anything except enjoying themselves. What to do? *runs around in circles*
