Merde!
Friday. 3.27.09 3:57 am
Im done with The Messenger by Marcus Zusak. The book is okay... nothing which compels you to finish reading it within a day. A good book if you would like to only read when you feel like reading. It really is a messenger. It made me realise that the closer to home something is, the harder it is for us to do and that we takes things around us for granted. It is always easier to do things for a perfect stranger for no reason than to do things for someone close to us without it. The closer you are to the person, the harder it is for you to do anything that you think will hurt them, the more oblivious you are to them.

But the most important message of all is that we actually force ourselves to do something, no matter how hard, no matter how impossible it seem, well be able to do it because well figure things out in the process of trying to get it done. If someone whos considered as a loser can do simple things to make the world a better place for someone else, why cant we?

My next book is Merde Actually by Stephen Clarke. Yes, my Merde series is back!! I cant wait to learn more French phrases. Voulez-vouz cafe avec moi?

I finished reading Merde Actually and it is hilarious. It gave me some insights to how certain things work and how sometimes you must give someone a chance to prove themselves, again. You also find out certain things about certain places in France, like the nudist beach in Arse. Yes, you read it correctly, it is also pronounced that way too (according to the author), arse.

Btw, there are 3 seahorses in the 2nd picture in my previous post.. see if you can spot them! ;D
