Today there was an assembly on Relay for Life. Therefore, 9th through 12th graders got out of most of first block. Today is Rose's birthday. I think I'm going to come over tonight to bring her her present. I bought a basket thing from Bath and Body Works with body spray and lotion and stuff so it's going to just be from Matt and me. I hope she likes it!

Well, I'm back in school. I kind of miss my talkshows in the morning, but I still got bored sitting home all the time.Matt and I get to get out of class 4 minutes early so that Matt can carry my backpack for me between classes. I have to work tonight from 4:00PM to 8:00PM with Ashley Pepper, a girl in my grade. I'm going to have to have Matt carry my backpack to the corner of the school so that I can meet Bev to take me to work (because I can't carry my backpack). I'm sure I'll have much fun trying to catch up with everything today...

I went to Matt's house today because he didn't go to school either so he could get x-rays on his middle finger, which he thinks he fractured. Therefore, I went along for the hospital trip. Vicky dropped me off at Matt's before work, and Dusty came to pick Matt and I up for the hospital at about 9:30AM. While Matt was waiting for his x-rays, I went with Dusty to pay his car insurance. By the time we got back, Matt was done with his x-rays. We all went to Subway after that so we could get an early lunch. Then, Dusty, Matt, and I went to Kim's to get Dusty's work clothes, since Dusty had to work at 4:00PM and didn't feel like coming back up the mountain to get anything. After all that was done, Matt and I had a fun-filled day together.

I went to the hospital on Tuesday. My appointment was at 10:00AM, but I didn't finally get out of there until about 2:00PM. First, I went to Dr. Black's office. She suggested that I have a skin surgeon scoop both of my moles. Therefore, I had to wait for what seemed like forever in a waiting room for the surgeons. I didn't get put under so I tried my best to try not to look at what the surgeons were doing. Overall, I think the surgery lasted about 40 minutes. After they scooped the moles, they corterized (probably spelled wrong) both of them and added stitches. It was really gross. Afterwards, I had to go to the first floor to get just about every mole on my body photographed. I had to wonder where the line of child pornography is drawn when I stood in a studio, on a platform, while the photographer took pictures of my "lower extremities". This all went on while I was in my underwear. It also really sucked because I had just had surgery and it was kind of hard to get dressed and undressed. Now, I'm still home from school because it hurts to do just about everything. I had to have my cousin, Mel, come over yesterday to put my bandages on after I got out of the shower (I couldn't get into the shower until noon because the wounds couldn't get wet or have different bandages for 24 hours). I was going to have her do my hair for me, but I sucked it up and did it myself. Today, however, I got up to get a shower before Vicky left for work (she now has a new job at a nursing home in Athens) so that she could do my bandages and my hair. Matt called this morning to say that he isn't going to his track meet because he has a doctor's appointment for his middle finger, which he believes he dislocated while playing basketball with a group of guys after track practice last night. Now, he can hopefully come over to see me after his appointment...
