Once In Awhile Joke
Dyslexic Lightbulb
How does it change many dyslexics to take a lightbulb?
Once in Awhile Lyrics
"I Hope You Dance"
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)

(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

Good Matt.
Friday. 4.30.04 1:44 pm
Today has been pretty good. Matt has been exceptionally nice, we got the order forms for prom pictures, and yearbooks are getting handed out today. Yesterday, I took on the task of delivering a bunch of Cherrydale stuff that people ordered. The thing that really sucked was I had to hand back Miranda's stuff as well as mine. The good part is, I got to go to Matt's while Vicky picked Miranda up from cheerleading. After battling at the end of the school day over Matt's Spanish work, Matt was surprisingly nice. Finally, he hugged me tight, kissed me, and apologized for being such a jerk. I was so happy! I love when Matt acts so sweet. Then, Matt let me correct his English essay. The amazing thing was, Matt didn't freak out when I changed a bunch of stuff! This relationship is progressing so nicely!

The Orders Are In...
Thursday. 4.29.04 8:34 am
Yesterday, the Cherrydale orders that we sold for chorus came in. I went to get them after we saw some of the musical, which sucked hugely (sorry, Molly, but it did). However, the box was much too heavy for me to lift so I had Vicky pick it up when she got Miranda from cheerleading tryouts at about 8:00PM. The worst thing about the orders is that most of them are frozen. Therefore, I have to deliver most of them to the peoples' houses tonight.

Just How Gay is This?!
Wednesday. 4.28.04 1:25 pm
On Monday, in Applied Math 2, we took a quiz. Mrs. Larcom, the teacher, told everyone to be quiet. She said that if anyone talked, she would give them detention. However, everyone in the class seemed to be talking. Matt told Mrs. Larcom about how he didn't understand the test. Mrs. Larcom basically ignored him so Matt said "This is gay." Mrs. Larcom freaked out and told Matt that he was getting a zero on his test. She didn't mention to Matt, however, that she was writing him up. Matt confronted Mrs. Larcom on the topic yesterday, and she explained that those were indeed her plans. Mrs. Larcom said that she didn't turn it in yet though, and Matt should basically drop the subject. Later, while I was talking to Matt LaMont, I said the word gay. Mrs. Larcom promptly asked me if I just said gay. Being perfectly honest, I told her I did. Mrs. Larcom then proceeded to write my name down to take me in to Mr. Neifert, the assistant principal. She then looked at Matt, who had been complaining about everyone else getting special treatment in the class, and asked if he was happy that she was going to write down everything everyone said (which wasn't really true because Matt and I were the only ones with names written down). Matt argued with that, and Mrs. Larcom asked if he would like to go and speak to Mr. Neifert.Matt said, "Actually, I would," and walked out the door. When Matt returned, he had his shirt inside out because it said "Dirty Dicks. Liquor in the front, poker in the rear". Apparently, Mr. Neifert had told Matt to turn his shirt around first thing before anything was discussed. After that, Matt told Mr. Neifert what he had said and how Mrs. Larcom has started writing people up for saying "gay". Mr. Neifert said he was going to talk to Mrs. Larcom. So far, neither Matt nor I have been called to the office over the matter. Hopefully, it will stay that way!

No More Stitches!
Monday. 4.26.04 8:46 am
Friday, I went to my family physician, Dr. Kirkowski, to get my stitches out. It was qutie painful, especially in my elbow, but I lived. Now, I can lift things just like I used to. Nothing really exciting took place over the weekend. Basically, I went to K-Mart and to Matt's after I got my stitches out. I got tweezers, a floating candle for Mother's Day (for Vicky), a candle for Vicky's birthday, water-resistant lotion, scissors, regular tape, and masking tape. I think that's about it... On Saturday, I was abandoned until probably early Sunday morning while Vicky partied and what-not. Sunday, Matt came over for awhile. After that, I went to work. Today, I'm wearing a skirt because Matt made a joke that I don't try hard enough. Well, I showed him!

A wise monkey never monkeys with another monkey's monkey.
You suck, and that's sad.
