Today, Applied Math 2 was as ridiculous as it usually is. Mrs. Larcom couldn't even figure out how to teach us how to do something correctly so she was getting really frustrated. However, so was the class. I said that we shouldn't take a test yet when nobody understands (Mrs. Larcom was going to make us take a test on the material even she didn't understand).Mrs. Larcom told me to go in the hall with her. I followed and asked her what was wrong. She then told me that I supposedly was "making smart remarks all period" and she wanted me to go to the office. I told her that all I said was that we shouldn't take a test until we understand it. She said we wouldn't, and I said okay then. Afterwards, I got upset because my nerves are basically shot. I started shaking and felt sick so Matt took me to "the nurse" (we actually stood in the hall while Matt comforted me and got me to calm down). I think Mrs. Larcom has a severe grudge against me, and I don't know why! What I do know is that she needs to stop accusing me of the dumbest things!

This morning, we had an assembly during part of block one on seatbelt safety. Jack, a cop that drinks with Dad, was there to give most of the presentation. The assembly was fine, until they actually showed pictures of dead bodies. That was quite gross. Can they even legally do that?! On another note, the weather for prom seems to be looking up. Now, it's supposed to be 75 degrees, and it looks like te thunderstorms might miss us. Also, Vicky let me drive her Explorer last night! To say the least, I did horrible. Then again, what can you expect when I've hardly ever driven anything? Vicky made me cry about 3 times, but I did get to see Dad for a couple of seconds (I pulled over because he was mowing his lawn). Vicky then proceeded to tell Dad how I can't handle an Explorer and how I shouldn't have the one that Dad plans to give me. Dad could tell I was upset so he tried to joke with me to ease things up. God, I wish I could see him more!

I was just looking at the 7 day forecast for Newswatch 16 when I found out that Saturday is going to be 80 degrees with afternoon thunderstorms. I suppose I'm happy that it's going to be warm out, but 80 degrees is too hot! Hopefully, the thunderstorms will clear up by the time Matt and I leave for prom!

Yesterday, work was slow. I guess nobody wanted a sub. Therefore, Kirsten, a girl I work with, and I got things done much earlier than usual and sat around in the lobby. Finally, I went home early because there was nothing to do. On the way home, Vicky and Miranda informed me that Amber Wetzel had left a message for me on the answering machine. I called her back and finally got ahold of her! Amber told me that she got fired from Subway for supposedly stealing. Apparently, Linda and Karen accused Amber of giving a customer a $5.00 discount. All they had for proof was the receipt in a basket that they go in that had been changed. When Amber told them she didn't do it, they told her she must have known the person. Then, Karen and Linda told Amber that they'd have to "let her go". Amber got a lawyer and everything, who demanded to see the security tape. However, it had mysteriously been taped over. Linda and Karen told Amber's lawyer that they had suspected this before when she was with her old boyfriend, Eric. However, they didn't even ever bring up the situation to Amber (as far as I know). Now, Amber is living back with her parents. I explained to her that the prom is next Saturday, and I would like her to be at my house by 3:30PM. Amber was more than fine with everything. She originally wanted to put fake tips on my nails, but we both figured it'd be a better idea to just "paint them a pretty color" (as Amber stated) so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting them off for work. Amber said she would be glad to do my makeup and hair too. I explained the hairstyle I would most like to have, and Amber was quite sure she could accomplish it. Amber got instructions to my house and said that she would call me the night before prom to ease my fears of her not showing up. Tomorrow, Vicky's taking me to the mall after school. On the way, I'm going to drop off pictures of my first, second, and third choice of prom hairstyles at Amber's parents' store. That way, she can see what she'll have to do...

Last night, I worked from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. While I was working, I noticed a pain in my toe. Usually, when my toe hurts like that, it's because I didn't cut my toenail even. However, it didn't get better after I went home to cut it correctly. In fact, I think it's gotten worse. My entire toe is turning bright red and swelling up. This is not to mention the extreme pain that's coarsing through it's throbbing body. After awhile, I went to the nurse to see what she had to say about the situation. The nurse decided that it probably was an ingrown toenail that evolved into infection. She suggested that I cover it in peroxide and a bandaid and soak the toe in warm water for awhile. Right now, my toe is covered with a really ugly bandaid. Hopefully, this infection will get better by prom!
