Sunday. 8.1.04 12:01 am yesterday, roger and i watched the chinese movie, house of flyign daggers. he wanted to watch and critise how bad it was, and i, of cos, only watched for one sole reason, takeshi keneshiro.
the movie was alright, there were some elements of infernal affairs in it. spies from police, spies from the clan.. blah blah.. the funny part was when zhang ziyi was stabbed (near her heart, i believe) and she wasn't dead after the 2 hunks fought from autumn to winter. she could stand up and pull out her dagger to throw it at andy lau. then she "died" again, and takeshi went to mourn for her and she "woke from her death" yet again! (reminded me of matrix 3, when trinity just "refused" to die) everyone in the cinema was just laughing at the undying lead actress.
roger : yuck, the movie sucks
me : aww, really? i didn't quite notice, i had my eyes on one person
roger : the whole plot sucks
me : aww..it wasn't that bad. thank god takeshi was in the movie
roger : the whole movie is dumb, worse than hero
me : aww... really?
as you can see i was totally awed by the handsome hunk to care about anything else in the movie. frankly, it didn't suck that bad! and moreover, i was sitted on the 2nd row, so darn close to the screen. i thank my good fortune that i can be so close to "him" LOL.

today we went home to celebrate my dad's birthday. bought a mango cake from 4 leaves which they simply love! never seen my dad eat so much before. bought him a mont blanc perfume and gave him an angpao. :)

anyway, i declared thursday and friday of last week, good food day. I had prego, food from hotel 1929 and cocoa steamboat. :D so happy with all the good food i have to eat!

11.00am : did laundry and put out laundry
12.00pm : went to ikea and got boxes, came back dumped all the magazines that was still tied up in string for almost a year already and stacked them in the boxes. now the room looks like a storeroom, but it beats having dusty books and magazines tied up and looking untidy.
1.30pm : discovered floor was dusty and dirty due to all that moving and vacumed the floor.
2.00pm till now : doing my work and on my way to finishing them!
i am so proud of myself. LOLz
arughh the weather... one moment its drizzling, one moment its sunny
i am gonna have biceps from bringing the clothes in and out

i am soooooooooooooo darn bored!! with roger working even on the weekends, i am so darn bored. he's not even getting paid OT for weekends! what a %*#@$% company!
 i watched the french movie amelie again! must be like the 5th time i have watched it, but i still love that movie to da bits! hopefully when i master my french i can understand the whole movie without looking at the subtitles!
nothing to watch on tv now, too darn bored to do my work.. arughhh.. i hate it.
 to console myself, i am trying to imagine that the sort of cooling weather is in december and that xmas will soon be here. did i tell u i love XMAS? i love love love love xmas! i don't like the presents (but of cos if u want to give me one, i will be more than happy to accept! cos my one and only xmas present is always from roger, so sad) i don't like the crowd in orchard.. but i just love the spirit of xmas. the joy of the xmas melodies that sing when u switch the radio on, the lights and decorations, the xmas tree, the angels.. i love them all.
when i was younger, i would wait and anticipate to go for the midnight mass on xmas eve, wear new clothes, see happy people in the church. i love doing that.
i still wish xmas is near, i love it more that my birthday! well.. i and hope and wait somemore, since there is like 4 more months to xmas!
