well, i did try to get myself into the xmas mood.. but my blardy clients just pisses me off. they are like a piece of filthy poo stuck on jolie's fur. stinky, disgusting, irritating and simply one word to describe.. arrughh

I conclude that maybe i didnt really care as much about xmas as i did when i was a kid. to me now, its just a commercialised season. buying, giving & recycling isn't it sad to see your gift being recycled as a gift to someone else? Worse still! you discover that your gift is actually a freebie from some goodie bag. *grin*

oh well, i think i am just talking crap..

XMAS! yes! xmas is finally coming! but.. i don't feel excited at all now.

Maybe its more fun when you are just a kid. But now that I am all grown up, I have more responsibilites and I have to go around buying gifts. Its now no longer about ME, but I have to think about others. *LOL*

The big hole in my pocket doesn't make me excited about Xmas like before. But anyway... Tis the season to be jolly. So I shall try to be jolly and happy! Maybe santa will come mend the hole in my pocket. :-)

Xmas-es are sure different when you are a grown up. . . Like pam said, Being grown up sucks! and yeah, i agree with that statement.

When I was a little girl, my mom will buy me new clothes for xmas, so that I can wear them to church. Now, I no longer buy new clothes for xmas, cos I don't go to church and its actualy because I'm too broke.

When I was a little girl, I will have put up the xmas tree by early november and start counting down to xmas day. Now, I count down to the number of days I have left.... to buy presents.

When I was a little girl, I would be so happy to go to church on Xmas eve, because after mass, my mom's friends will give me presents. Now, on xmas day, its like doomsday, cos after spending all that money on gifts, someone might just open it on xmas eve and say, "Eeeww yucks! what a horrible gift geri gave!!"

But above ALL that, the little geri and the BIG geri still loves xmas, xmas carols, xmas trees & xmas deliciously cooked goodies. so, HO HO HO, have a great xmas everyone! ;-)

yes yes, i know i havent blogged in the longest time. but no one reads my blog anyway. why do i bother, actually. :-P

i watched alexandra the great on sunday. which wasnt exactly quite great. its was extremely long (3hrs!) although it was the life history of a great man who died at the age of 33, it was still too long for me. by 2 hrs, i was flipping in my chair more than you would flip an egg to fry it.

I havent started my xmas shopping!!!!!! and i am too broke to shop!! how how?! i am so dead this time. i hope santa gives me some cash so i can get presents. Or can i just get you people a roche chocolate each? (i mean just a single chocolate. not a box of roche) *grin*

u know, i have been watching so much movies! I watched Polar Express on friday with Jan and Ying. I watched Birth on Sat with Rus and Jos and Rog and today... I watched Brigit Jones Diary2!!

Brigit Jones has won my stars, 4 stars for comedy, 5 stars for that Awwww... so sweet, and 4.5 stars overall. Its definately worth watching!

Brigit jones sort of brings us some kind of weird luck. when we watched brigit jones diary 1, we were given FREE tickets by someone from singtel.

For brigit jones diary 2, we were walking to the Q at plaza singapura and a guy approached us to buy his tickets, as he was in a rush to go off. and it was brigit jones diary, and we only paid him $10 for them! (well, he only wanted $10, not that we try to cheat him or anything) we saved $3 today! hehehe.

Birth is a very very slow and silent movie. guess it nearly made all of us sleep. but the story was similiar to a documentary i watched on discovery channel, so to me it was just like watching a documentary re-made as a movie. 3 stars?

Polar Express has its own exciting moments, but probably i am getting too old for a kids movie. hehe but the 3D was stunning! I guess Ying and Jan enjoyed it more than me. :P

and on SAT, I tried on my first bridal gown! hehe Just to see the cutting and shape. We are window shopping around for the perfect place right now. I am a typical singaporean, want cheap, want good , well who doesnt!!

I had alot of fun!! cant wait till my next bridal window shopping. :)

hiya all!! i am back! anyone missed me? *grin* but i guess not..

anyway, i went for a wedding dinner last night at Raffles the Plaza (congrats michelle and yoshi!!!!). The place was beautiful and the food was marvelicious. *thumbs up* your wedding seems really well planned!

anyway, yoshi went up to the stage and made a speech thanking everyone and of cos his wife. he was so sweeeett! this was what i could remember from it.

first of all, i would like to thank michelle's parents, for bringing up such a wonderful daughter, and i really love her alot! (awwww) despite our different cultures (he's jap), you accepted me, I wont let down your hopes and expectations of me and i promise to love michelle and make her happy for the rest of our lives.

awwwww so sweet! anyway, i had fun yesterday. one of the best weddings i went to so far. and not having to laugh at the couple for rolling the egg up the pants gig. thats so passe and cheesy!

WARNING! do not ask me to roll an egg up roger's pants on my wedding day! i will take the egg, crack it on your head and make u stand under the sun to let it have a sun dried egg and then pour a whole bottle of tabasco on it and make u eat the egg

anyway, besides me being busy, there was also rus and jos's rom, rog's dad's birthday, went to orchard to see the christmas decorations (yeah! at last xmas is coming!!), watched incredibles, got hooked on some chinese drama; late nights on channel 55, have been on msn; screaming how bored i am & also talking to rus till like 5am in the morning, brought jolie to the vet, looking for wedding gowns and work work work.
