i woke up at 7.40am this morning. tired! but excited to go to class, it was drizzling. left home at 8.30am & reached school at 9.15am.

wow, there were alot of people at the lobby! are these all my classmates? still in a daze and stoned from waking up so early, i went to the 3rd floor, class 312. the class was extremely quiet, all shy and hush hush. there were 9 students in all, 8 of them were GALS! (+ 2 aunties) and 1 boy (who looked very young, after A'levels maybe?)

then there came my lecturer, his name is Franck MARRE. no, he didnt look like olivier martinez he came and sat beside me, YIKES! oh, he only wanted to mark attendance. hehe.

the class started like a swish of wind, so fast, so french, i felt lost in translation. hahaa! well, at least i managed to pick up a few phrases.

je m'apelle geri = my name is geri
j'habite singapour = i live in singapore
j'aime la musique, la cinema et le singapour = i like music, movies & singapore

hahaha! hey i think i am not bad for a start! i am not looking at my notes as i type these phrases! anyway, it sure was a mother of all languages, tough to infinity. hehe. maybe it was the first lesson, thats why.

i'm glad it ended after 2 hrs, lack of sleep didnt help me much in class. i had to go make a pair of specs, cos i couldn't see what he was scribbling on the whiteboard. discovered my degree went up due to me not wearing my specs.

i was so sleepy i slept in the bus, i even had a night mare on the bus, can u believe that! someone was cutting up some flesh of someone with some knife! yikes! then i felt something went BAM!!!!!! on my ear, i jumped from my sleep to realise that this old woman getting down the bus, banged her plastic bag on the side of my face. that gave me a BIG shock AUNTIE!! arughh... the night.. or should i say noonmare sure woke me up.

i am so damn shagged right now. can feel my migrane coming too! think i should go rest early tonight!

yikes, i am in a fluster. designing some logos and webpage outlook for satindoll. i'll tell you more about that when i am almost done with the base work.

confirmed the hotel stay for KL today. thanks tracy! u are a miracle worker!

and i have FRENCH lessons tomorrow morning!! i am in a fluster cos i dont know if i can wake up on time! yikes! i have to be up by 7.30am and get out of the house by 8.30am. dont want to be late on my first day of lessons! i'm also in a panic cos i dont think i can sleep that early! or maybe i shouldn't try to sleep and wait anxiously for my lessons tomorrow? arrugh arrugh. the anxiety of school!

did i tell you about my niece, genesis? she's really grown alot. it sure makes a close bond, seeing her grow from a tiny weenie little baby to a 8 month old toddler.

she does great things now. especially pointing! she kinda reminds me of crayon shin-chan. same face shape, same notorious behaviour and all. yes, back to the pointing. ask her anything!!! she will point it out to you.

me: where's jolie??
genesis : points (wah, correct, 10 points!)

me: where's jiu jiu (roger)?
genesis : points (wah, also correct! 20 points!)

me: where's the fish?
genesis: looks around and points at my air purifier(er.. not correct baby, it looks like a fish bowl but its actually a air purifier)

me: where's godma?
genesis: looks around and gives a Huh? who the hell is that look , so sad, she knows everything but me, then again, maybe she just needs more practise

besides that she will give you a peck on your lips when u say "kiss kiss" and make a muack muack sound. she will open and close her fingers when u sing "twinkle twinkle little stars". she will laugh and clap her hands when u go YAY!! she also knows how to do the "hi-five".

i must say she is a bundle of joy, tho she has quite a temper for a 8 mth old baby. pulled my hand and "threw" my hand away when i put it on her toy. smacked the bowl of porridge on me.. aye aye.. but she's a cutie!

i cant wait to see her grow up. :)

don't walk to the other side to take bus! don't walk pass block 20. these were the words we heard when we were about to go out today. why? someone commited suicide.. yea! i know. shite.

but then again, due to roger's curiosity, we walked past that block, i saw a body on the pavement, surrounded by a big pool of blood. police were writing down statements, and a photographer was taking pictures. i couldn't see if it was a man or a woman, young or old, maybe i didn't want to see. i just took a quick glance and quickly walked on. people crowded around to watch, children sitting beside them in awe. it's sure sad that life has to end this way. i hope he/she will rest in peace.

it was my first time in that stituation, esp what you see are all on television. fake blood, and maybe even ketchup. it sure brings chills down my spine!

what ever your problem is, depression or not, find someone to talk to. normally those that resort to this methods are people who cant find help. and for people who are not depressed, kindly lend a listening ear, you might just help to save someone's life, by just listening.

happy birthday to ros!! today was a adventurous day! we went to ros's birthday party. it was at geylang lorong 24. no, dont get it wrong. ros and her brother have a clay workshop over there and it was marvellous! named EARTH, if i am not wrong. it was a great place, great food and a great party!

there was ice cream strawberries (very yummy! from mos burger), huge chocolate, chocolate chip, macadamia & almond cookies, subway sandwiches, big sushi, small sushi, pink frosted donuts, chocolate donuts with coloured "rice", jellies, grapes etc. the whole food thing was just colorful enough to make up the colours of the rainbow.

i saw bats for the first time of my life. two tiny fruit bats hanging from the flouresent lights. they were ros's guests i heard.

& in another room, there was animation playing on a big screen, funny animation played from various countries. collected by ros's friends.

and then came the best part! i tried pottery for the first time! i think i did not bad!! :) the throwing , the centering and the TLC smoothing the clay. it was sure fun! i made a mug and did a bowl with roger, we might just take up pottery lessons soon! i was getting into a trance when i watched the (erm what u call that thing) going round and round, like a vinyl record player.

i guess it helps u to relax when u are concentrating so hard to make a perfect shape. i think we should be joining the sat classes! i feel so cultural, french and pottery, and roger wants to take up tango! heheh

ok, got to go!, got some work to finish up :D
