Merry Christmas Homeless at Christmas, 1993 New in the Art4TH Bookstore! MyBlogLog folks | Almost died in the ER yesterday Saturday. 2.28.09 9:20 pm I have been sick with this cold and it got worse. I started having sever chest pain so I was taken by ambulance to Grady when I got home from work. I wished I would have stayed home. There was this head nurse and she was a bitch. I had an asthma attack in the waiting room and fell onto the floor. The woman started screaming at me and I quote "You need to get up and behave yourself. You are making a fool of yourself in front of everyone. You are fine because i did the EMS evaluation myself. Now get up," She kept saying that over and over and then she faded away. I had stopped breathing for a minute or so and I kept pointing my throat trying to signal that I couldn't breathe. My mother gave me HER inhaler and put it in my mouth and pushed the wonderful albuterol in my mouth. It was the medicine and the bitch's yelling that brought me back. I thought it was over for a minute. I mean, everything went black. There was this abyss that was pulling me away from it all. Security came--they have metal detectors in the ER and were there the whole time, but the guy tried to help me up. The bitch/nurse told him "No! Don't you dare help her she is fine. You will hurt yourself," I said a prayer for that security guard since I couldn't talk to tell him thanks. Anyway, they finally saw me and I was sent to the asthma room and was on oxygen for the next five hours. Comment! (5) | Recommend! What Tarot card are you? Friday. 2.27.09 1:49 pm Haha this is funny. My mom, YoungAtHeart found this on someone's blog (I forgot who lol) so I took the test. She is the moon. Mine is Strenght, which is also my personal numerology card or however you say it. You know, when you add up your birthdate, month, and year to get a single number. My number is 8 so in Tarot Major Arcana, my card would be the number 8, which in most decks is Strength. Kinda cool
You are The MoonHope, expectation, Bright promises. The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window. The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition. What Tarot Card are You? Comment! (0) | Recommend! The Homeless Network Wednesday. 2.25.09 3:09 pm I printed some flyers and passed them on to the Atlanta Fulton Library System. The staff were very courteous and promised that they would be placed on each floor and near the computers. If you read the flyer and have come here to learn about Art4TheHomeless, you are at the right spot. It's a funny story really. I caught in on the news. This lady was married to a member of the National Guard and one day he brought home a pet...a pet missile. They are getting a divorce and she contacted the Guard and they were like OMG We need that back! Is there anyone else out there that has unique and exotic pets? Comment! (1) | Recommend! This guy cut off his pit bull's ears because he thought it would look cool. They showed the animal and he was in a lot of pain. His ears were bloody. That guy needs to have his ears cut off. Anyway here's the news link for it: http://www.cbsatlanta.com/news/18742173/detail.html Comment! (0) | Recommend! Had my puff for the day Thursday. 2.19.09 4:26 pm Albuterol..not weed lol. Speaking of weed...so what if Michael Phelps does weed? They need to stop trippin. He could be shootin up heroin or something worse. Let him puff! Comment! (0) | Recommend! Illegals should be shot..? Wednesday. 2.18.09 9:14 am How would you like it if someone broke in your home and took everything you owned? You shot them in self defense yet you were the one jailed. It's kinda like that on a national level. Illegal immigrants keep coming in our country, taking our jobs, and now our country is paying for it. They should be shot. I watched CNN about the border patrol shooting drug smugglers coming into OUR country yet the officers were arrested. What is wrong with this? The illegal aliens should be shot, but not killed. They need to be stopped. If we illegals working for less than the minimum wage, there goes more jobs, and there goes more people trying to pay the bills. Comment! (1) | Recommend! |
