mood: funky...in a bad way
I miss my hair. Alot. I don't feel very confident at all. It's funny how hair could make me feel more confident but alas thats how I am sometimes. I feel like my birthday and summer are already ruined. I'm really sad. I never noticed what a large head I had before either. I think I am going to look into extensions. Maybe I can use birthday money to get them. I wonder how much I will get..hmm.. Maybe I shouldnt care so much. I mean Im engaged and I have wonderful friends and family so its not like I have to impress anyone. I guess it sucks bc the only persons opinion I ever really cared about as far as my looks go is mine. And mine sucks. I dunno maybe I'm just tired. Plus I had a really hard time trying to do anything with my hair today. I think I need a chi iron. Maybe thats what I need. Just something to help me style it better. Than I can at least halfway enjoy it. I dunno. Im tired and cranky.

We're going camping as soon as I get off work today! Yay! It's me, marc, heather, her boyfriend llyric and my two godkids (aka heathers kids lol). I'm stoked! I'm going to tie my lounger float to a tree or rock and float in the river all day! Mmmm and cookout food! I love camping. Like seriously LOVE it. And so do my dogs. Anyhow the anticipation is killing me so I thought I'd drop a line here so I dont just dissapear and so maybe I can get my mind off of the trip for like 2 minutes. Whoo!

My hair is gone. Well most of it anyways. Yesterday I had at least 6 inches taken off. AT LEAST. And I only wanted like 2 or 3. The girl is apparently quitting and just didnt give two shits and completely fucked my head up. So now I've dioscovered that im apparently somewhat vain secretly as Im very very sad. here's my new do though.

Listening to country music is sooo bad for me lol. Not old school country like alabama's old stuff and aaron tippin and what not because I don't listen to it very often and it mostly makes me think of mississippi and act like a homesick goober. However newer country music, while it is soooo rare I will actually like any of it, when I like it I LOVE it. For instance carrie underwood. I first heard her remake of some hearts and was like hey she has an older country sound to her and she isn't terrible, I wont completely ignore the fact that she exists. Then my friend played wasted for me and coming from a family of alcholics and have alot of friends with actual drinking problems (not just college kid weekend drinking lol) I really liked it. Then it happened. I heard before he cheats. I LOVED IT! Also loved singing along to it. Now I'm going to temporarily interject on myself to let you know I love singing and I'm generally very good at it. However I'm not great at singing in front of other people (unless trashed) and I get nervous and it sounds horrible. Now on that note, I can always sing country great. It kind of sucks because it is definately not my top choice for musical entertainment but alas, I was raised in MS so I have a nack for that lovely southern twang. Add that to the fact that I can sing incredibly strong (loud, clear and can hold it) and well I can get a lil' country sometimes. Now back to where I was going with this lol. So I was driving to work today and belting out some carrie underwood because nothing puts me in a better mood than singing, when I come to a redlight. Now Im on a role and I haven't messed up one part and I'm rocking it so even though I know cars on either side are getting a giggle I don't stop. The car to the right of me with his "im so cool look at my illegal tint" windows rolls it down just enough to make eyes at me. Well I crack up because it makes you feel good when you've been in a relationship for as long as I have to still be flirted with sometimes. Apparently he took my laughter offensively. He revs his engine under his fake ass muscle hood (the ones that make it look like a v8 with the muscle build when its really a v4 lol) thinking "She's a girl she wont know its not real and she's just in a stupid dodge sedan". Now normally I would ignore his trashy-ness but I gots mah country a blarin' and I'm kinda hyped bc Im really a morning person and I'm always wound up early in the day. So the lights turns green and push my gas all the way down and leave his dumb ass behind. HAHAHAHA. Now what he failed to realize is 1. Im a prissy girly girl but I grew up in the delta and have 3 brothers and 3 step brothers and 2. While my car looks like a sedan its actually the sports edition stratus and has crazy acceleration. While it was fun I felt a tid bit redneck in the end lol. But alas this is what happens when I listen to country music.
