Laura has been up here since friday. It's been really fun~ We've gone hiking and cave exploring, we had this huge cookout with my friends up here so she could meet them, we went to frankfort and bought special ky candy and saw the capital buildings and tried to go to the salato wildlife center but it was closed lol and all kinds of other stuff! Super Fun!! We're going to go downtown today for the fireworks and festivities and then maybe to my friend ben's to see his display too! Works also been a little less boring because we finally started doing some advertising so it has picked up a little. (1) Biscuits N Gravy Thursday. 6.28.07 1:47 pm listening to: Music mood: Good Yeah so I name my titles after random things concerning me in that brief second it takes to type a name for my blogs...big whoop wanna fight about it? Anywho...Who It took me three times to type that because I kept wanting to type anyhow... Its storming like crazy here. I like it but it's a touch scary too bc it's soo loud and kinda came out of nowhere. Plus my boss had a doctors appointment and Im here alone and hungry and I don't want to walk anywhere because its raining so hard but if i drive I have to close the store down..Lame.. And of course we have the one frickin speedway that doesn't have hot sandwiches and stuff next door to us. On a different note our friend adam came over the other night. It was cool because he used to date someone who was my "friend" (I use that term loosely with her) and even though marc and I were both better friends with him and liked him better I listened to all the awful things she told me he said and blew up on him. That put him on the defensive and then he actually said awful things and...well it was a mess. But we both apologized and things are back to normal. Pretty much all the friends that his ex caused me to lose are back together. We took our entire group of friends and pieced them back together one person at a time and we're back to how we were before her. Its a nice feeling. Its like if we can get through that we will all probably be friends for the rest of our lives. I love my friends. :) Anyhow so I've eaten some old re-heated biscuits and gravy and have awesome friends...Thats the moral of this blog lol. Comment! (3) | Recommend! My Party Tuesday. 6.26.07 11:43 am listening to: The Radio mood: Peaceful Wow I havent been on here for a couple of days but it feels longer. So my birthday party was super fun! Once I get the pics up I will put a link to the album on here. The tropical theme turned out great and I looked pretty cute in my outfit ;). So many friends came that I havent had a chance to hang out with in awhile and it was really refreshing to see that I have so many great friends in my life. I'm a very lucky girl. Plus I got some really awesome birthday presents!! Katie got me a hand painted wine glass that was all birthday-fied and it is adorable!! Ben got me a cool firework and an awesome book of all kinds of shots and how to make them. And edwin got me this awesome ass 2 cd 80's new wave collection! I've gotten alot of birthday presents but it's kinda been spread out so I can't possibly remeber to go through them all but My marc made me the most awesome cake ever! I have a pic of it already bc it was taken on my cell, I'll post it at the end of this. He also helped me plan and decorate my party and he just did an awesome job. He's such a wonderful guy! Books and Tropical Parties Friday. 6.22.07 2:06 pm listening to: The Doors - Light My Fire mood: Happy Yea that's pretty much my life right now. Things are looking as though they are considering slowing down but who knows. My B-day party is tomorrow and I am super stoked. I got some really cool decorations and marc is making me a classic white cake with vanilla frosting (i know strang how I am so complex but my favorite cake is sooo simple) and he's got all kinds of cute decorations and stuff. Yay! We have to really buckle down and get the house cleaned tonight. We've been saying we were going to do it all weekend but then we keep getting stoned and sitting around watching everybody loves raymond and eating leftover spaghetti. But we're out of leftover s'getti so maybe it will happen. The entire house is a mess (by my ocd standards, probably not too bad by normal peoples standards). We also have to get sammy (my shitzu) a bath bc marc let him lick the s'getti pot and now his goatee is stained red plus he smells kinda odd. And we have to make sure buddha's area is really clean bc I probably won't allow him out tomorrow night since he still has his stitches. Also I've been reading every day at work. I just finished stephen king's book "Gerald's Game". It was really good. It started out kinda crazy but then got a little slow and then got progressively more and more good. I would definately reccomend it. Anyhow theres where my life is at for the moment. Comment! (4) | Recommend! |
