Saw them last night, and they were pretty amazing.
For those of you who don't know, Tom Delonge, lead singer of Blink-182, is also the lead singer for this band, A&A.

Two completely different genres.
Punk rock, and then space rock.

I've seen both Blink and A&A live now, and I think Tom sounds much better with A&A, simply because he started Blink when he was young, and voices change over time. That and the fact he wasn't drunk for this show. :P

So, I have a list of bands I HAVE to see live before I die, in order to die happy.

My list is:
The Fray (check)
Blink-182 (check)
Modest Mouse (have the tickets)
Coldplay
Lady Gaga

Obviously from the checks, I've already seen The Fray (LOVED THEM) and Blink-182 (the energy was AWESOME). I'm going to see Modest Mouse July 18th, Lady Gaga is playing near by in September (dunno if I'll have the money for the tickets) and I have NO IDEA when Coldplay is playing again.

Three out of five ain't that bad, though :D

Aside from potentially failing my Anatomy and Physiology 101 class, I feel absolutely fantastic!

I'll start with last night. Best. Night. Ever.
It started with going to my school for an International Festival, only to be coming in as it was rapping up. BUT THAT WAS OK! Because I made it just in time with my friend Meagan to participate in a Powder Paint War.

You ever been in a Powder Paint War? I hadn't until last night. I highly recommend it. (:

THEN! After this, my friend and I stayed in our paint and went to Subway. We both enjoyed delicious subs, and talked about everything. I discovered she wants to major in some kind of religious study. I forgot the exact name, but she told me so many things I didn't know. How, apparently, women are born with original sin. "Eve gave into temptaion first." Awesome.

THEN we went to Coldstone! A great ice cream parlor right down the road from Subway. Still in our paint, we discovered we eat the exact same kind of ice cream when we go there: Cake batter mixed with brownie squares. YUM. Here, we had even more people stare at us. But it was ok, because we still had magnificent conversation.

FINALLY. We went to Hot Topic at the mall down the highway, I bought an awesome new Lady Gaga shirt, and no one stared at us weird for our paint, because, well, it's Hot Topic.


The ride home was what was most epic. It seems like we talked about everything. I never realized how much I had in common with Meagan, and it turns out we're really alike.



It was just one of those nights I absolutely will never forget.


Today I'm getting my senior essentials: cap, gown, diploma cover, you get the idea. I'm so excited for school to be out! It's so exciting!

PLUS. MY MOM IS LETTING ME GO ON A WEEK LONG BEACH TRIP WITH MY FRIENDS. NO ADULTS. YESSSSSSSSSS!


Now she just needs to let me go to Tennessee to see Modest Mouse and I will be good to go!

Christianity has proven time and time again to me that it's a bunch of bull crap.

I love God. I love Jesus. I believe in both. I don't necessarily believe that other higher beings don't exist either. I don't believe you're going to hell if you're not a Christian or if you're gay or Bi or whatever.


The Bible tells us to love everyone no matter their flaws. I just can't see God sending someone into the firey pits of hell simply because they don't like the opposite sex.


Plus, until you show me proof that the Bible and all of its contents are the truth, as in, introduce me to the author, call me ignorant, but I ain't buyin' it.

It's a rant. I hate talking about Christianity in school, among other subjects. Because no matter what, there will never be a winner.
