Good luck! My advice is if you'll be on the move, take a lot less than you think you'll need, especially because you can buy cool t-shirts along the way. My other advice is take some granola bars because sometimes you never know when your next meal is coming and it's nice to have something familiar to munch on. If you're staying still, take as much as you can possibly bring so that you won't have to just buy it all again when you arrive. And if you want to talk about immigration or tax issues, I'll be right here. And make sure you have more than one way to get money. (Cash + card, two kinds of cards, a credit card and a debit card, traveler's checks, etc.) Usually you can call your bank and tell them that you're leaving the country. Anyway, you probably already know all that stuff. Bon voyage!

I'm a crazy packing list fanatic. I even keep some on my computer for re-use like my camping one and my beach vacation one lol. The most important for me is generally camera, battery and charger. I don't know where you're going but you'll likely need an adapter for your electronics too. Maybe stuff like calling cards too. I've never left the country so I'm kind of guessing on that one lol. Are you going temporarily or possibly forever? Will you still be able to access the net?
