MY CHINESE FANGIRLS!
Friday. 2.15.08 8:43 am
RANDOM, DO NOT READ. You'll kill me >.> And I don't want to die just yet. Not at this moment anyway.

How many trilingual people do you know? (Besides me, of course. ;P)

Cute vid, no? And...aren't they so awesome?! *gush* Taiwanese shuai ge who are (supposedly) trilingual. Their Cantonese is demonstrated in this next vid:

Almost accent-less. ;) I think that is really great. Now if only their English is just as good...or is that asking too much? Heaven knows my Mandarin is really lacking these days. I don't speak it as much or as well as I used to. XD True and sad. I've really got to talk to more than just myself these days...>.>;;

Question is: Can they converse trilingually?

Hahaha! I recently looked up this video site specially for anything asian and found the drama Reaching for the Stars made back in 2005. Watched it, found the guy interesting (acting better than most pop idols these days), and storyline was nice. Looked him up and found out he was the elder of twin brothers in a pop group called 2moro. Sadly, I haven't been able to find any recent info. on them. Of course, there's the language barrier as always. x_x My fault. XD

Alright, last vid:

----------------------------------

I spelled 'their' wrong twice. 'They're' instead of 'their'. What is wrong with me?Don't bother looking cuz I fixed it. x_x Hoo, boy...

I forgot to add. I think we should have it announced as the universal way of life or something. I think it isn't made a religion because some essential figure of a higher power is missing, unless it is called lazyness. Though making it a philosophy would be interesting. *muah* I bet your mandrin is much better than mine since you can read, I can only speak and I stutter at some parts because I have totally no idea what somethings are called in Mandrin.

LOL!! gosh! I know how that feels!! Last month, my housemate invited me to dinner with her and her friends because it was her birthday. I was the only chinese while the others are Bangladeshis, Indians and Parkistanies, and they conversed in Benggali. I was the only one at the table not laughing because I have no idea what it is about.

AHH
Those are the guys who sing that song??? I always wondered...lol I looked up "shabu shabu" on google and it's some kind of Japanese boiled beef, which would explain the food theme that pervades throughout the vid. I was confused for a while....

Haha ok, I think i got your background figured out. But if it wasn't for Google I would've never figured it out...because I've never seen The Great Escape DX Yes yes, tsk tsk shame on me. In fact I'd never even heard of it before
