"Shame, shame." "Won't they ask why?" ------> as in because I couldn't graduate on time and that's the only possible reason in the whole god damn world for taking a year off. Even after I had told her I had been thinking about a year off since freshman year. And about Peace Corps. I mean, god damn it! Shut up! You don't know a freakin' thing! She's so narrow-minded! God. Crap. Ugh.

Dotty dear, I didn't know what I'm going to do even about 1 year AFTER I graduated from high school. So here I am doing pre-university and getting all stressed up because the teacher I got can't teach.

Yea, whoever who said "shame shame" should effin go to hell. Not everyone have their future planned out already, not everyone knows what their calling is, not everyone is devoid of problems. She really needs a brain transplant, I think only half of hers is fully functioning.

OMG... Your mother?? *gasp* I only started college because I was getting bored at home all the time. If you take a year off, you can go work and gain experience or something. The experience you get might come in handy when you continue studying again.

Oh dear....
...telling asians that you're taking a year off from eduction is sending yourself to doom. I completely understand where you're coming from on the narrow-minded part. All my dad cares about is me going to college he doesn't give a damn about the experience, the fun, or the stress.

But hey, it's your life, do whatever the hell you want. No matter how much "shame shame" or "tsk tsk" they throw at you there isn't a thing any of them can do.

hmm... i don't need to know the 'shame shame' part because all my life my mum is shameful of me simply because my school grades were so much lower than my sis and i entered one of the worst schools in my state and my sister in the best in the state and one of the best on national level.

but as muffin-man said, life is urs. do whatever u think u should do with ur life. don't let anyone pushes u to do anything u dislike. live ur dreams even though u got several 'killers' behind ur back. i had that too but i have overcome it now.

i wish u all the best and pls muster up all ur courage to overcome this. determination is the key.

And I just saw One Missed Call. It was a pretty terrible movie. All it did was rely on the "jumpy" factor, there was nothing remotely creepy about it.

And not so much of a happy ending....
