What a day what a day. Yesterday that is. I guess you could say I played the reverse card a little too well and it ended up blowing up in my face. Fair enough, I did it on purpose to make what it was supposed to be double the fun. But then again I too would be pissed if I wasn't even so much as acknowledged on "that day of loooooove." Pffsh.
Man o man what a double standard it was. But yeah it's all over and done with now. Hmm.. so on one side I still feel the exacerbated after effects of unexpected suprises, but I suppose I had it coming.
Not all surprises are a good thing. Especially when you're narked on for it because you did dum diddly on "Valentine's Day" or should I say, "Single Awareness Day."
And the beat goes on.

Okay, so after I self-diagnosed my condition over the weekend as being a case of the stomach flu, I felt better knowing what it was and what it wasn't. It was still a pain nonetheless, and I haven't felt that lethargic since.. I don't know, ever.
So today is Valentine's Day aka Single Awareness Day for those of us who just don't have that other to celebrate the day with. I actually heard some pretty sad stories on the radio the other day about how some ladies would (later regretfully, I assume) send flowers to themselves at work so that they wouldn't feel so terrible seeing everyone else get a little some'n some'n from their snugglybooboo. Yikes.
Ahh I remember my Valentine's Day from 4th grade. There was this girl named Danielle who put our names on the back of one of those cards you would get in a pack at Target opposite each other. I think I even used Valentine's Day-themed stationary once to write to the TLC fanclub.
I never got a response.
Oh, and one more thing. Too much chicken soup for the soul is not a good thing. All that sodium in that can of Campbell's, Progresso or whatever brand you choose to sip your woes away eventually will make your body dehydrated. So feel better. Wisely.
