Want to work for Obama:Check out the 2008 Plum Book over 8,000 jobs
Thursday. 11.13.08 12:58 pm
I know a lot of people are in need of a good paying job including me I just graduated college so why not try to get a job with the government. To be honest it seems like the government is the only one hiring anyways. There are over 8,000 jobs listed in the 2008 Plum Book, and who knows which ones will stay when Obama takes office. Need a job and your willing to make that move please take a look at this Plum Book.
What the hell is our government doing with all the money? Just wasting it. What's makes me mad is that their giving our money to these banks who are not doing what was asked of them. What was that? To lend out money to those in need like small businesses, but what are they doing holding it so they can buy smaller banks. I feel like the government lied to us, and they should have let us know what their real intentions were for bailing out these banks. They are just now trying to help homeowners which is what they should have done from the jump. Now, they have to worry about the auto industry? How could this affect our economy? Well, they claim over 2 million jobs could be lost if they don't get money to this industry. How is the government giving money we don't have. Now if we have this money do you think we would have a deficit of $10 trillion. The government needs to slow down before they hurt our country.
Who will be the new President of the United States?
Monday. 11.3.08 11:50 am
I'm not sure, but I hope it's Obama. This country needs something new, and I feel he can bring that. I also think that our government needs new bright and young individuals around to help get new ideas for this country. Tomorrow we shall see who the people vote for McCain or Obama. No matter who it is this country is definitely going to change either for the worse or better.
Fox News Question:Are You "Selfish" if you don't want to "Spread the wealth"?
Saturday. 11.1.08 11:24 am
I heard this question on fox news this morning and decided to post it. Well, I think you are because we're doing that anyways. People are worried about paying more taxes due to the state of the economy. Those that are rich need to realize that regardless of what happens in the economy your not going to change your lifestyle. It's going to be the people with less who are going to have to change their lifestyles. This show on fox news talked about how China and Iran has lower taxes but you got to think about all the things we are able to do here. China may be about growth but they control more of what their people do like Iran. We have more freedom in the U.S.A which means we have to put money towards keeping us safe. Let's say if we all stop paying taxes what would happen to our economy it would be destroyed. There would be no national security any country would be able to attack us, right. So it's like were investing in the security and well-being of our people here in America. We also kind of paying to do almost anything we want to do in life.
I feel that if someone is making millions that shouldn't be paying less taxes than me, and I also feel that the media is misleading about why some countries outsource. Cost of operate in America is way higher than China plus the wages are low. Higher or lower taxes is going to stop a company from moving to another country. Now if the government can make materials and other supplies companies need in order to operate than they can actually stop our jobs from going overseas. I don't think the taxes is going to stop anything. I know this because I'm in the accounting industry and this is what I learning in cost accounting.
