Alicia Keys is finally coming clean about her relationship with longtime production partner Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, which she’s kept on the low for a few years now. In the new issue of Sister 2 Sister, Alicia says she waited twelve months before giving Krucial the keys to her goodies. Smart girl.

Rapper the Game has called off his engagement to actress Valeisha Butterfield. The couple announced their wedding plans earlier this year, as part of an exclusive interview with Sister 2 Sister, but their whirlwind romance is over. The two had been strictly friends when Game proposed to her. He is now allegedly dating his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany, who accompanied him to the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Waist Deep.
And in happy engagement news, Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West popped the question to his ex-girlfriend Alexis while they were vacationing overseas. The two had broken up for a minute when West was dating an MTV assistant named Brooke. I guess he had never really broken all ties with his ex.
And there you have it all the dirt that gets swept under the rug.

Brooklyn’s Eli Dancy had grown tired of seeing rates of HIV infection increase in African-American males. His solution—the Safe Sex Certificate.
Dancy’s company, STFree Certifications, offers the certificate, a card that fits in a wallet, as a way for people to instantly show the dates and results of their last two HIV tests. If someone is tested by STFree, their results are stored by the company. The results can be verified by calling a toll-free number that’s available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Dancy, a veteran of the adult entertainment industry, started STFree to combat the rise in the number of people infected with sexually transmitted diseases, specifically HIV.
“The continuing rise in the number of HIV infected people is not unavoidable,” he says. “As an African-American male, I wanted to prove that prevention efforts can be truly effective with this easy-to-use initiative.”
The Centers for Disease Control and the New York State Board of Health agree with Dancy. Both groups recognize and have approved the Safe Sex Certificate.

Justin Timberlake may think that he’s bringing "Sexyback,” but according to Diddy—it never left.
Diddy, known for his extravagant use of the word “sexy,” has no problem letting the blue-eyed soul singer use his catchphrase for his new single, but not before making a few things clear.
"I'm a big fan of Justin and he's allowed to use my catchphrase 'sexy' and run with it,” Diddy told Contact Music. “I mean, I got it from somebody else, so it's all good. [But] I am the king of the sexy, Justin. Let's not get it twisted."

The rapper/producer—who was recently awarded a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame—may be a contender for the king of hip hop as well, as he was recently deemed the "Richest Person in Hip Hop" by the Panache Report website.
After six months of research, the site’s creator Myra Panache, found that the Bad Boy had $346 million, edging out Def Jam President Jay-Z ($340 million) and Def Jams co-founder Russell Simmons ($325 million).
Sales of Diddy’s men’s fragrance “Unforgiveable” provided the numbers that pushed him to the top spot. According to Panache, Diddy earned an additional $6 million this year from the fragrance. His other earnings come from the sale of his Bad Boy record label to Warner Music Group and his Sean John clothing line.
Runner-up Jay-Z’s fortunes come from his stake in the New Jersey Nets, Armadale Vodka, his 40/40 nightclub chain, and his $3 million Def Jam salary.
So So Def founder Jermaine Dupri made the list for the first time this year, tying Nelly at 10th place with $60 million.
Check out the top ten list:
*
Diddy, $346 Million
*
Jay-Z, $340 Million
*
Russell Simmons, $325 Million
*
Damon Dash, $200 Million
*

What Really Was The Best ATL Video This Past Year?
Thursday. 8.31.06 11:50 am
This past year err'body learned how to snap, raise motorcycles and walk it out via the video machine. Admit it, Atlanta put the "V" in video entertainment of the past year whether you liked it or not you wanted to see what we would drop new on that a&%. Question is, will the VMA's pay the piper tonight?
Here are a few of our (Atlanta) nominees.
Best Male Video
T.I.
"What You Know"
Best Group Video
Gnarls Barkley
"Crazy"
Best Rap Video
main-180-175.jpg
T.I.
"What You Know"
Yung Joc featuring Nitty
"It's Goin' Down"
OK, I know what THEY say but which video was really the best thing smokin this past year? I already gave you my hint, "Shoulder Lean" was my pick but 'Dro won't cop an award for that. And in a close second "Lean With It" or "Ridin Rims" really showed Atlanta at it's truest point this year.
Speaking of video's check out these ATL cats supposedly on the come up. I doubt if this got a VMA nomination but it's a trip. Aint nothing like the westside of Atlanta.
