Last nights shoot with Lauren was really fun. We got some really nice shots...I promise I'll actually post some soon.

My only problem is that lately I've noticed a huge drop in my cognitive control. My short term memory(what my Dr used to call my 5 second fritz) is shot, and forget concentration. We could've gotten a lot more shots, a lot more variety, and a lot quicker had my brain been on full function. I hope this isn't the start of another deterioration. This really would be one of the worst times imaginable. With my job situation, my photography, starting writing again...I can't let it drop now. Meh.

Today Lauren's coming to get me, and we're taking Mowgli to see Santa at PetSmart. Most of the proceeds go to local animal rescue, so we're taking him there rather than to the mall. We took Dancer once, but she was a pretty mellow dog and easy to hold if she got too excited. I have NO idea what to expect with Mowgli. Hah. After that I think we're going to try to go see Chris' grandparents...again. If that doesn't work, maybe a movie.

For now, however...my stinky butt needs a shower.

my gig today shooting the bris wasn't bad at all. i can honestly say i learned a lot. it was a really well performed ceremony, and the whole family was really nice. looks like i might have a recurring gig with them as the baby gets older.

from there i headed over to wissahickon for a nice walk. nothing clears my head, heart, and soul like a nice nature walk. i took some nice pictures, too! i hadn't shot any leaves this year yet, hah. honestly, i did have a really nice chance to think and re-center myself.

so now im home. we made some prep for thanksgiving since we'll have 6 people here at our apartment this year!
SO thats that...my tummy is giving me some issues today, so ill be eating light tonight. nonetheless, its dinnertime!

ps: anyone who catches the allusion in my title, you get a gold star for the day!

the pics are up! go to and look for them in galleries (portfolio?), special events, weddings, tara and jay...im really proud of how some of them came out!

and for good measure..one of me...im blurry cuz i didnt think to have chris take one of me...but here ya go...a pic... :) not bad for catching me in motion...hehe i look better blurry anyway...

work was busylicious today, but not bad.
my spinner ring broke :(
and i cant find my yin yan necklace :( :(
i feel out of whack.
i at least want to replace the necklace. i have a couple rings i can replace the spinner with.
ill find a good replacement in time.
its the one i wear on my left hand if anyone wants to find me a REALLY good replacement ;)

thats it...chris picked me up from work then we went to get him an application to the theatre...
got some taco bell for dinner...
david took some pictures for me...i think they turned out well...we'll see soon enough...

so that's that.
im really tired and my eyes are burning...this may be a short computer night..

Yesterday I was exhausted, and work didn't help any. I had to be in at 9am after a 10 hour 8am day and the Christmas tree adventure. It was insanity all day, but that's Christmas. Lauren picked me up from work, and we drove around for 2 feckin hours looking for some damned mistletoe for the shoot I was doing of her that night. We didn't find any. The shoot went pretty well...the half I got to shoot. I wanted a second outfit, but Chad decided to be sleeping at 8pm, so my other outfit was trapped. We got some really cute shots though, and I WILL get my mistletoe shot!!!

This morning I headed out for my endocrinologist appointment. As soon as I got off the train my blood sugar crashed, and I have to tell you all...the woman at Mrs Field's was the SLOWEST person I've ever had the pleasure of having serve me! I honestly thought I was going to die before I got my damned cookie. Then I couldn't find anywhere to sit...so I had to sit on the floor before I passed out. Stupid cookie wench! Anywho, today was my first time meeting the new endo, and I absolutely LOVED her. She listened, she asked questions, and she treated me like maybe I wasn't a liar. She made me feel like I'm actually a part of my health team, and she made suggestions rather than lecturing me. She did, however, decide she wanted me on a 12 hour fast for my blood work, so I have to head back into the city tomorrow. Oh well, I still get to sleep in, and I can nap when I get home.

After my appointment I had to get back on the train and head to work. Bageezus was it cold out! I got to work, and I had a pretty good night. I got home, and Chad got us wings for dinner. Now I'm ready to go to bed!
