What is the What, Dave Eggers | busy days Tuesday. 12.5.06 12:12 am Yesterday I was exhausted, and work didn't help any. I had to be in at 9am after a 10 hour 8am day and the Christmas tree adventure. It was insanity all day, but that's Christmas. Lauren picked me up from work, and we drove around for 2 feckin hours looking for some damned mistletoe for the shoot I was doing of her that night. We didn't find any. The shoot went pretty well...the half I got to shoot. I wanted a second outfit, but Chad decided to be sleeping at 8pm, so my other outfit was trapped. We got some really cute shots though, and I WILL get my mistletoe shot!!! This morning I headed out for my endocrinologist appointment. As soon as I got off the train my blood sugar crashed, and I have to tell you all...the woman at Mrs Field's was the SLOWEST person I've ever had the pleasure of having serve me! I honestly thought I was going to die before I got my damned cookie. Then I couldn't find anywhere to sit...so I had to sit on the floor before I passed out. Stupid cookie wench! Anywho, today was my first time meeting the new endo, and I absolutely LOVED her. She listened, she asked questions, and she treated me like maybe I wasn't a liar. She made me feel like I'm actually a part of my health team, and she made suggestions rather than lecturing me. She did, however, decide she wanted me on a 12 hour fast for my blood work, so I have to head back into the city tomorrow. Oh well, I still get to sleep in, and I can nap when I get home. After my appointment I had to get back on the train and head to work. Bageezus was it cold out! I got to work, and I had a pretty good night. I got home, and Chad got us wings for dinner. Now I'm ready to go to bed! Gnight all! Categories: photography [t], work [t], doctors [t] 2 Comments. hopefully your blood works goes well. I do hate fasting big time...I only had to fast for 4 hours and that was enough for me, so 12 hours must be a nightmare (especially for someone with blood sugar issues)! » lazypuppy on 2006-12-05 12:25:45 You can do it! » etheracide on 2006-12-05 06:45:56
