if everyday started with someone bringin me bagels and letting me take awesome photos of her, id be a much happire person in the morning. alas, just today. hah. lauren came over (yes, with bagels) and we shot a bunch of images for her "phillys hottest flyers fan" entry for preston and steve. we got some wonderful images!

after that i set to prepare for tonight and pack for next week. usually i have the experience of going "i know i OWN that shirt....i just havent seen it in a while" especially when said shirt is black. today somehow i knew exactly where to find it! i figured i was on a roll at that point (yes, a roll after one) and decided to once more look for my disney ring. now, i dropped this ring back in june or so. right after we moved in. it disappeared. i looked under books, under my desk, behind my desk, in the vacuum cleaner, in the crate i use for printer paper, even in the wheels and cushion of my chair! today i decided to take out the pendulum. i generally use it as more of a guide for my emotions and thoughts, more of a therapy. not usually as lost and found services, but today i was desperate. chris and i are getting our picture taken tonight, and i REALLY wanted to wear my damned ring! so i sit beneath my desk, and starts to swing, so i ask "is it even still here?" (yes), "is it in the chair somewhere? (no) ,"is it behind my desk?" (no), is it in the crate? (no) but its still swinging between the chair and the crate so i decide its the crate (which ive moved and looked in and behind more times than i can count) finally i think to ask "is it UNDER the crate?" (YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!) so i tilt the crate and sweep my hand under it...low and behold, there's my ring! just waiting to be found!

so im very happy to have found my ring...
now if fed ex would come, our day would be complete!

in more exciting news...
ive got a pretty nice shoot lined up in a couple weeks.
a girl from philly who wants pregnancy shots.
really really artistic stuff.
shes excited to work with me, so im really excited to shoot it.
shes got some cool piercings apparently.
so far we've got some good ideas.

now i just need to get some paying jobs.
so we can actually have a christmas.

So tonight we went to Walmart in search of a board game of some sort to play. Right before we left Ralph showed up, so I got to talk to him for a few minutes. Sorry we bailed, Ralph! We ended up coming home with a few movies (halloween, friday the 13th, airplane) and some other stuff too! we did end up getting life (it was between that or battleship!) but we never played it. They had a bunch of movies I wanted to get (dark crystal, princess bride, silent movie, men in tights) for $7.5 a piece...maybe santa will get them for me! All in all not a bad evening. I really like the feeling that washes over me when we're watching a movie and I feel Chris' arms wrap around me. Such a small gesture, but such a hugely loved feeling.

That's it really...for those who missed other posts, I put the pictures of the babies up on the website. There are some of Chicago that will come tomorrow sometime, but the baby pictures are up. Bunny! there are a couple of Emilia I think will cheer you up!

For now I'm gonna head to bed! How quickly my days off run away from me!

oh well, it's almost halloween!!!!

To answer some questions...yes i love KFC..heh. and i had some really good sales yesterday at work...so far ive made $39 in commission this pay period. Wooot! I can buy a couple presents!

I'm shooting a bris tuesday afternoon. Gotta say it's something I'd probably never have experienced otherwise. Hah. Should be an educational day to say the least.

Monday night was pretty fun aside from being so late and making Chris upset at me. :( It was good to see Tara and the kids, and the shoot itself was nothing but adventure...seriously. Hah!

Last night's show was aMAZing. The boys looked really good up ont he main stage, and I took a LOT of pictures. Heh. Some of those will be posted later! It was a late night, but I made it through the entire show. The lead singer of the last band looked REALLY familiar...but I couldn't place him, so maybe I was just half asleep.

So today I got up nice and early to head out to the airport. I got there in awesome time. I THOUGHT I was early because Eli told me 1130.....ya, it started at 11, so I was late. OOPS! Not exactly the starting impression I hoped for, but tant pis. Halfway through the information session my head started to hurt so bad I couldn't see straight. It was then that I remembered I hadn't eaten breakfast, and I thought to myself "I really hope my blood sugar doesn't crash until I'm out of here." Halfway towards the group interview part where I had to get up and answer a couple questions in front of everyone I crashed and almost fainted mid-sentence. Luckily, there was a nice bowl of Jolly Ranchers on the water table and no one faulted me for grabbing 4 of them. Now, I'd been a little worried about the one-on-one interview because I wasn't sure I could pull another day off anytime soon. Last year I got called back the next day, and I knew there was no WAY I'd make it tomorrow. Well, karma was on my side today, because they decided to do the one-on-one portions this afternoon! It meant I had to hang out in the lobby trying to simultaneously NOT die and remember all the information I needed for the novel of an application I had to fill out. Luckily, my phone has internet access, because I didn't remember half the phone numbers I needed. I really think that part went well, not JUST because I knew one of the interviewers. I'm good at interviews, so I'm not worried. Now I just have to wait. If the timing goes about the same way it did last year it should be perfect...after Christmas, but more than 30-days before my COBRA lapses.

After the interview I FINALLY got to eat. Yay! Tomorrow's a late day so I can relax for a little bit. I might try to see if I can find the outlet for the lights while the suns out. The next few days at work are going to run together, but we're getting our tree after work Saturday! Exciting things amok!

For now, I'm gonna put my jammies on and relax!
