i came home last night after a shitty day at work...
and chris had installed a mantle on our fake fireplace!
we now have somewhere to hang stockings!

Two years ago I was trapped for quite some hours at Dallas Ft Worth airport trying to get home to someone I'd never met, but with whom I had spent countless hours on the phone.When I finally made it to PHL, they'd gotten lost, my bags were not with us, and I was starving. Chad dropped us off at my apartment, and he kissed me before we could even lug my lack of luggage up the stairs. We had dinner at Midtown, and the rest is our business, but somewhere in there he asked me to be his girlfriend. While at some point after then I'd counsel myself saying I should have taken it slow and not rushed, I didn't. Here we are two years later. We've been through a LOT together. I don't really know what the next year has in store for us, but up to this point has been rather eventful. Why would I expect any different now?

...we have a Christmas tree!

Tonight was a nice little adventure.
I've been working my ass off lately, and there's really no end in sight.
I don't have tomorrow off like I thought I did, and in stead of getting Monday off for my endo appointment, I have to be in 5-cl...luckily I have Wednesday off!

So tonight we went to get our Christmas tree...
we wandered around Big Lots and Walmart for the perfect assortment of ornaments and such...our tree will look awesome!
Then we hit Home Depot for the actual tree...between teeth chattering and hands numbing (winter has arrived, folks!) we found a great tree for < $20!

since I have to be in so damned early tomorrow we didn't get to decorate it yet...but definitely tomorrow after my shoot with Lauren! Yay!

It smells like yule!

work was busylicious today, but not bad.
my spinner ring broke :(
and i cant find my yin yan necklace :( :(
i feel out of whack.
i at least want to replace the necklace. i have a couple rings i can replace the spinner with.
ill find a good replacement in time.
its the one i wear on my left hand if anyone wants to find me a REALLY good replacement ;)

thats it...chris picked me up from work then we went to get him an application to the theatre...
got some taco bell for dinner...
david took some pictures for me...i think they turned out well...we'll see soon enough...

so that's that.
im really tired and my eyes are burning...this may be a short computer night..

Chris and I have awesome hair tonight! I decided, since there was no way my hair was going to grow out anytime soon, and I didn't want ridiculous roots for Tara's wedding, I might as well dye it again. So...it's read once more!!! I even highlighted it myself! Pictures to come! We made Chris' black, and he looks awesome! I like the black we got this time. We'll see how well it holds.

So last night we went to Chris' aunt and uncles 25th anniversary surprise party. I like when I get to do things with his family because well...I don't see mine very often and I miss those kind of functions. I guess I never realized how important being part of a family was until I was far away from them. It makes a huge difference, too, that his family seems to like me. I've always felt welcome with them. Dinner was fantastic, cake was yummy (albeit really sweet), and I got to dance with Chris' grandmom...and slightly more awkwardly, his uncle who grabbed my hands and dragged coerced me to the dancefloor. I wish I'd actually got to dance with my boyffriend...but he'll only slowdance, and they didn't play a slow song until we were saying goodbyes. Oh well...maybe someday. Heh. I made it through half or so of SNL last night...I adore Dane Cook, so even though I have to work all day today, I wanted to stay up as long as I could. It was funny stuff! Heh bua alas time for my to catch the retarded sunday bus...which means I get to the mall 45 minutes before it opens because they can't make bus schedules for buses that specifically service the mall make sense. The last one leaves 10 minutes before the mall closes, which makes wonderful sense to those of us working there...Bah. Anywho, off I go! Have a good sunday, someone watch some damned football for me!
