Yes, I take a break from alternative music.

wOw it's been awhile since I've updated my blog! I know I should be getting some sleep right now, but I can't. My circadian rhythm is jacked.

This weekend was eventful. I went to Santa Anita Mall and did some shopping. I got a light blue metallic cd case for my angry music (light blue and angry music. ironic or stupid?) and a sweater from Old Navy. Then I spent Saturday with my nephews. DAMN LITTLE BOYS!!!! They're really conceited for kids ages 6 and 8! Just because one wins at a racing game, he brags like he's better than the other. I felt like taking that game cube and throwing it out the window so both have nothing to brag about. Seriously, I'm allergic to people like that.
Then today was a little better. My mom and I went to Cingular to get headsets. I also got a camera for my phone ( which is an ERICSSON T316). So now the background of my phone is my picture...so just in case it gets lost, they know who it belongs to. After that, my family celebrated my aunt's birthday and we ate at a Chinese restaurant 45 min. away from my school. My entire family was there, including the newborn of the family. The dinner was awesome! Unlike the sucky cafeteria food at school, warm Chinese food was refreshing. After dinner, my mom and I were about to leave, but the car wouldn't start. Her battery died! So we called on the rest of my family and everyone came to the rescue. I've seen my family work as a team, but not like this! It made feel warm inside knowing that I can count on my family when there's trouble. The guys got the car to start, but it was a risky chance to drive the car to Riverside. So my Uncle gave me a lift back to school. So yeah...it was a fun weekend. One that I didn't expect....

It's the first day back and I already have the worst luck with my classes. For Visual Communication, Senior Capstone, AND Figure Drawing, the guys from my previous class that were annoyingly loud are back. Plus my friend, which likes to sit next to me in class, are really close to these guys. So when she sits next to me, those two jerks follow too. And they don't even talk to me! I tried before, but they'd give me stupid one word answers. Oh well, luckily my friend from Printmaking came back. I'll just sit next to him from now on.

I have so much to do for Wednesday and I haven't purchased 1 textbook yet! I'll do that after getting breakfast and making an appointment for counselling.

I think the best part of the day was going out w/ my friends to TGIFridays. It'll probably be the last time we'll be doing something fun in a long time. I hope this will be a good quarter.

I'm back in my dorm room, a little bored, but happy. It's been awhile since I got some peace from all the crap I get from home. Before I came back, I went over to Wing Jack's house and gave him his present. Then he handed me the Daredevil Soundtrack that I've been wanting for the longest time. The movie ending sucked, Ben Afleck being a superhero...sucked, but the music rocked.

Well I guess being trapped in the room is better than having to hike up to the visual art center to developing stuff. I know I'll be pulling another all-nighter this quarter because of the last Visual Communication class, so I'll just enjoy the time I'll be having in here.

I guess I'll be seeing some new faces tomorrow. Transfer students...returning students.... ok...enough of that. I'll just get ready for tomorrow.

I saw my friend from school today and we just got through with Sociology 414 together. Obviously he got a higher grade than me. He got an A- while I only got a B. I guess I should just happy that I even got that high, especially with that super hard final the teacher put us through. I told my friend, "Sociology will be the first and last class I'll have with you." That was the first time I was given sad puppy eyes. No guy has done that in front of me, even if they were just kidding.I hope I'm wrong. I hope I have a class with him before he leaves in the Spring. Why am I thinking like this?

I know this is the fridayfive, but it's still blogworthy, even on a Sunday.

What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .
