So what happened to my no-show partner? He finally got back to me during lunch. He was missing the same stuff I was missing and 5 minutes before class, we were both running around to answer the last questions. Luckily I met up with Jeremy and he helped us out a lot. Yeah major props to that little dude.

I'm not going to be updating until finals are done....so um...I'll be back on March 18.

mood: pissed!

Man this day sucks! I spent 3 hours reading for my final on Monday and my study partner never showed up! I'm doing ok in RELE 447, but I really want to do my best for this final. I know it's going to be really hard, and my partner let me down!!! I have to present the notes tomorrow and my partner's half is BLANK.

I could feel my blood boil right now.

10 more minutes before the figure drawing class starts. 3 hours and only a 10 minute break....

Someone save me.

Just wanted to say thanks to the people who propped me: my best bud from nutang Von and my best bud ever Wing Jack! Yeah my family is really happy for me too. All I have to do is wait until March 12 at the Mission Inn in Downtown Riverside. All I know is that I'm getting something: either Silver, Bronze, or Certificate of Merit. Whatever it is, there's no other way but up! And man that would look SWEET on my resume!

WoW! An Awards Banquet...hmm...what to wear? who should I take?

3 weeks left and I have to come up with:

-a series of 9 designs for a greeting card
-my social/ethical paper that'll help me skip English 304
-the matching project that goes with the one listed above
-final test for RELE 447.

It's all good...after this, it's spring break and I'm going on a road trip to who knows where?

Around 10 a.m. this morning I went up to the Visual Art Center to finish my drawing for class. I bumped into Jose at the computer lab and he was looking at places that are showing "The Passion of the Christ". For Senior Capstone, we've been dealing with social and ethical issues in art. This obviously is the biggest topic to hit class. On a personal note, I'd watch it. I know it's going to be a strong movie...better pack tissue.

More on Senior Capstone, I have to work on my paper dealing with "Women's Issues in 20th Century Art". So far one of the primary artists I've found information on is Frida Kahlo. Here's a quote from her bio:

Frida, despite all of the hurt in her life, was an outgoing person whose vocabulary was filled with 4 letter words. She loved to drink tequila and sing of color songs to guests at the crazy parties she hosted. She loved telling dirty jokes and shocking everyone around her.
