I have an encyclopedia's worth of reading, but I need a break. I'm going to be wasting the next 4 days reading anyway.... One good thing about today is I got the approval to get into the ADDY awards. Now all I have to do is polish my 5 entries, and fill out the categories, and I'm in. I'm fidgety and I'm absorbing info like a brillo pad. Hey Von! Got a test to see if I'm ADD? Comment! (2) | Recommend! ridiculous! Friday. 1.30.04 4:07 pm It's Friday and I'm home for the weekend. Yesterday I read for three hours for RELE 447 and I'm still not done. Just when I thought the chapter was done, there's more. A LOT MORE. PLUS I have a midterm paper due on February 18 over Martin Luther King's book "Stride Towards Freedom". 11 pages. Then I have to do 9 greeting card sketches for Visual Communication Design, and an 8-10 page paper for Senior capstone due March 8. The paper for Senior capstone determines if we still have to take English 304, which I don't want to. SENIOR YEAR SUCKS!!!!! I'm just too tired. I'm dedicating this Friday afternoon to myself. Well now I fit the category and...well...it's a big deal to me. I've never been in a competition like this. I was thinking of backing down, but I've always let that negative voice take over me. This time, I don't want to give in. I'm a bit scared, but I might as well try. Wish me luck!  Comment! (2) | Recommend! another birthday Sunday. 1.25.04 6:58 pm I just got back to my dorm and the dean left a message on my answering machine. My new roommate will be moving in at anytime. Yeah I'm kinda scared. I've had roommates that I couldn't stand in the past and I don't want this to be another one. Yeah...I'm just bracing myself for the worst right now. As for my weekend, it was pretty cool. I went to this one Chinese restaurant to celebrate my aunt's birthday. The food was great, but the waiters and waitresses were so rude! They ignored my cousin and his wife when they asked for service, and when they brought the food, I expected them to just drop the food onto our table. Luckily they didn't. Besides, I was hungry! I guess you can say that's the first and last time I'm eating there.  There's only one thing I took home from the restaurant that was worth standing the rudeness of waiters and waitresses.
