The Family Project : My Charity 200 stocks that pay : 200 stocks that pay monthly dividends per share. Interest Rate Calculator : A quick and rough script that I coded to help me figure my daily and monthly interest earnings. Feel free to use it and I'd appreciate feedback and suggestions on how to make it better. Bankaholics.com : A good resource if you're looking for a good online savings account. GetRichSlowly.com : Someone who gives far better advice than me on financial ventures. My Money Blog : Another personal finance blog. A good place to get information about saving and credit cards. | It's 1:29am. Enough said. Tuesday. 6.27.06 1:29 am Once again I'm struggling to find something to say here, because I want to at least say something once a day. Otherwise, what's the point of having a blog? Of course, I always run into the same problem: my life is boring. Yes, sad but true. I live in a small town, I work at a hotel, I have a cat, I don't drive (or I drive, just not legally), I don't have a car, I have a girlfriend but we only get to have meaningful time together about once or twice a week, and I spend most of my days either writing or reading or watching tv. Fallen asleep yet? In an effort to keep this active without actually having to scrounge up something interesting to say, I may just start putting up stuff that I've written. My stories and the like. Although, I'm tempted to register a clone-blog for my writing so I can style it differently. I think I may do that, as a matter of fact. I'll post a link here when it's finished. Toodles. Comment! Lately, Adam Sandler has produced some really good movies. (Big Daddy not-withstanding). Funny enough to be entertaining, but with enough of a positive message to leave you feeling like you actually did something useful with your time and money. The cast was awesome, as always with his movies. Kate Beckinsale, Sean Astin, Christopher Walken, Henry Winkler, Julie Kavner (The voice of Marge Simpson!). The kids were just adorable. Anyway, all around funny movie with a good plot and well worth the price of a ticket. (Which, let's face it, not all movies are. *Cough*Poseidon*Cough*) Comment! (2) | Recommend! |
