The Family Project : My Charity 200 stocks that pay : 200 stocks that pay monthly dividends per share. Interest Rate Calculator : A quick and rough script that I coded to help me figure my daily and monthly interest earnings. Feel free to use it and I'd appreciate feedback and suggestions on how to make it better. Bankaholics.com : A good resource if you're looking for a good online savings account. GetRichSlowly.com : Someone who gives far better advice than me on financial ventures. My Money Blog : Another personal finance blog. A good place to get information about saving and credit cards. | More Music Monday. 6.4.07 9:01 am New music. This, again, is from my baby sister. This song also doesn’t have a name, and I really don’t know what to call it. It’s saved on my computer as “Piano”, for obvious reasons. You know, it’s funny how when things are going good, I have nothing to say. I’m literally sitting here staring at the blank page wondering what I could possibly talk about, but nothing interesting comes to mind. I’m still stuck in limbo over here, waiting for Jenn’s parents to sell the hotel so we can get the hell out of here. I spend my days either working, sleeping, hanging out with Jenn, or doing various things on my computer. None of my favorite authors’ books have come out yet, so reading is basically out of the question. My Muse is comatose, so writing, too, is well out of the question. Even when I feel the mood to write - when I get that tingle in my fingertips and that sense that I could write something good - even then, nothing comes to mind. I have a website to finish, another website to design for someone, a third project in the works, and yet I still sit here staring at the screen with nothing interesting to say or do. It’s incredibly boring. And yet, I don’t feel bored. It’s hard to feel bored when you’re mostly content with life, I guess. Comment! (2) | Recommend! Things I made up Sunday. 6.3.07 10:36 am This is just a random assortment of quotes that I made up for my website. I post them here... well... out of boredom. heh. We orphans of angels "A man walks into the desert with his burdens. He carries his fear and his pain, his lies and his regret, his anger and his hate. When he walks back out, only the truth remains." "We came not as we are, but as we were. From far through storm to near. Across the Shifting Water. Home." "In our journey we have discovered that imagination is the only limitation on what one can create in the Deep. Yet imagination is itself shaped by our soul and all its complexities; it can be brightened by our goodness, and pulled utterly into darkness by our flaws. So it is that we say 'In the Deep we walk a narrow path, with Glory and Evil to either side.' As Pathfinders, it is both our supreme joy and our unending sorrow that we have tasted equally of both." "Utopia is an illusion. Peace is not in our nature, and to properly keep it, one must often turn to the sword." Comment! (2) | Recommend! |
