Feeling - Worried

So, I no longer have my 'Bu. I'm going to miss it, despite the many setbacks it has given us. We had a short, but fun run. I took it many places. To Charleston a few times, Columbia a few and then Ohio once which was the biggest trek. All together I had put pretty much 4,000 miles on it. Wow, that is seriously a lot. Ah, also I failed to mention,it was a Chevy Malibu. I named it "Boo" like the ghost from Super Mario Bros. I even had a little cut out of Boo taped on the dash :D

Anyhow, I am HOPEFULLY going to at least get a call about getting a new car today. God, I really hope that happens because if I don't have a car by tomorrow I am not going to be a happy camper, because all of my friends are coming home which will only make me even more upset than I have been lately and I really don't want that to happen. Yikes. However, this week is going to be nice and busy once everyone does get home :D I actually get to decorate my friends Christmas tree this weekend because he is a scrouge and his mother is blind. I've been helping the past 2 years, making this the third year in a row. I love doing it so much. I've actually looked forward to doing it the past few years.

So, you should go welcome my friend, 8scribbledlines. She's new to NuTang, like myself and is super cool (also, like myself :D )

Question time!
What was/is everyone's first car? Mine was a 95 Buick Le Sabre. Basically the 90's soccer mom car because it was as big as a boat. I did love it though. Let me know!!

Keep on keepin' on!

All Over You
Sunday. 11.22.09 9:36 am
Good Morning!

Today feels like it might be a good day. It is a beautiful, sunny Sunday and I am having a vanilla chai tea latte. Not to mention my dad is making breakfast as we speak. Yes, I am making today a great day. This coming week will be the best yet. I just have school monday (I'm probably going to skip my only class that I have on Tuesday since my Phil/Ethics teacher canceled her classes on Tues!) Then everyone will be HOME! :D I am so so so so so excited. Hopefully I will have a running car? Ugh, if I don't I will be a very disgruntled customer. My dad is going to talk to the owner of the shop plus the guy who sold us the car AND the head of used cars at the dealer where we got the car. This is seriously just WAY to much right now and I have a job and school while my dad works and my mom has school. They can not drop what they have to cart me around. It just can't happen like that.
AH! Getting back to why this week is going to be amazing! All my friends are going to be home. That's why. There is nothing better, is there? No, there is not. Coffee, hookah, bonfires, boardgames and bitch sessions? Yeah, I can't possibly think of anything better :D haha. I am just so excited and I'm sure you can't tell right now :P

How are you planning on spending your Thanksgiving? What about your Christmas break? How long do you get for your Christmas break? I get 31 days! :D

I hope your week turns out to be just as great as mine does!

Keep on keepin' on!

Love The One You're With
Thursday. 11.19.09 6:28 pm
I thoroughly dig that song by CSNY. I'm an old hippie at heart :)

Anyhow, hello :P
How are you? I'm pretty great. Going to see New Moon tonight. I'm actually pretty excited. Out of all four books this was probably my favorite so it'll be interesting to see how the movie is. I'll probably hate it more than I did the last movie, but its okay. My friend and I are going to have fun, regardless! She's coming to get me around 8 and then we're going to Target to get goodies and whatnot and then we'll probably hit up the gas station for some coffee to stay awake, although I did just wake up from my daily nap which I extended a little bit longer than I usually sleep, haha.
On the other side of things, I am so ready for break. There is one reason in particular that I really just don't want to get into but I'm just so ready to see my friends come home. So so so so so so ready. I need it. Staying cooped up in the house is not for me in the least bit. I've been getting out recently which has improved my mood greatly and I am very thankful because did not like where I was heading. Buh.
But all bad things aside, things are looking up!
But maybe it's just my new medication, haha :)

Keep on keepin' on!

If there is one thing I hate being called
Tuesday. 11.17.09 8:53 pm
it would be a "fangirl".
I am not, nor have I ever been, a fangirl of anything. I'm sorry. I am not overly obsessed with anything of no importance. The only thing that has ever come close was my minor infatuation with Hanson when I was probably 8.
I AM NOT, I repeat, NOT a fangirl of Twilight.
Yes, I have read all the books. Yes, I saw the movie 4 times in theaters (only because there was nothing else to do and I did like the movie).
No, I have not read any of the books multiple times. No I have never gone to a "Twilight Convention" nor have I ever dressed up as the characters. To tell you the truth, I am much more content on reading the books than watching the movie. I do not wet myself or cry whenever I see Robert Pattonson or Taylor Lautner (however, he is simply delicious to look at, sorry)
I just cannot stand being grouped in the same category as the 13 year old girls that cry every time the word Twilight is said.

That being said, yes I am going to see the midnight premier of New Moon (no I didn't see the midnight showing of Twilight)
I'm only going because my friend had no one else to go with and is paying for my ticket, haha.

Questions!
Do you like Twilight (movie and/or books)
Have you ever been obsessed with something like a band or movie?

---EDIT---
So, I never really gave my opinion on the book Twilight or anything and I don't want my thoughts to get misconstrued.
I like the books, yes. The only reason I really do like them is because I just love the cheesy teen-romance that it is. I detest her version of "vampires" because that is not at all what they are to me, but in all honesty, when I read them I can't even picture them as vampires. I just picture them as regular people which kind of off-sets Meyers' intentions. So, no I do not believe that her view of vampires is correct, or entertaining. I read the book just after it had come out because I needed something to read and lo and behold it becomes a mega-best seller. Whatever, I don't really think it should have to be completely honest with you. The vampire fad is so stupid (sorry if you're actually into it)
Basically I just like it for the ridiculous amounts of teen angst, drama and smut that takes place throughout the book, lol. :D

Creatures
Monday. 11.16.09 1:06 pm
I feel a little more alive right now than I have this weekend. This weekend has been too much. I feel like I haven't really gotten a chance to be home all weekend when all I wanted to do was just SLEEP.
My phone gave out on me yesterday. Awesome, right? Right, actually. With the babysitting money I made, I got the new env3 in maroon. I love it! :3 I get a $50 rebate also, which is even COOLER because I'm sure in 2 weeks it'll be much needed. Things are FINALLY starting to look up, just a little. Two of my main concerns right now are 1) my car. I'm about ready to drive it off a cliff. /sigh.
2)school. I have yet to really talk to a councilor about what my adviser told me, about being at this stupid school till 2011. It's just all too frustrating right now. I'm ready for my friends to be home and I'm ready to be with people that I love :) (not that I don't love the people I do get to see, I would just like to see more of them!)
BUT! All in all, everything is pretty much going good.
Work on Saturday was just amazing. I cannot stop thinking and talking about it. It is just such a great job and I feel really comfortable there, which is superb *thumbs up*
Black Friday is going to be intense since I've never really worked a Black Friday, but I'm ready. I can handle it. I don't think I'll be alive after, but I can do it!
I'm getting my new medication tomorrow. I'm still feeling anxious about it, being that, what it's used for I've never had. This is going to be interesting, haha. I just hope it works. Migraines are just no fun anymore.
Also, my dad's truck is hopefully going to be done tomorrow *crosses fingers* Which means NO MORE driving both myself and my mother to and from school and wasting so much gas in the meantime. Sweet.
On a sidenote sort of, I've been thinking about it a lot and I am totally stoked to take a psychology class since I never have before! It's going to be amazing I think :P

Question! What was your favorite class ever? (between like, high school and college)
also, bonus question! What was your first cell phone!?

Keep on keepin' on!

Crash Into Me
Sunday. 11.15.09 7:49 am
Remind me to never, EVER work and babysit all weekend okay? Ugh.

Yesterday was my first real shift working at Bath & Bodyworks. It was SO cool. I already know the store very well because it is my favorite. I got to mainly work the floor which is definitely my strength. I'm a good people person :)
So, just under 2 hours later I'm off babysitting. Now, this wouldn't have been a problem if they would just GET HOME ON TIME like they never do. She says 11, and it's almost 1:30 by the time they actually get back. Seriously? Do they like, travel around the country before they come home? I think so. Because a dinner with your husband's boss, when it starts at 6 should not last till 1, correct me if I'm wrong.
Naturally this would also not be a problem if I hadn't agreed to come back over at 9 in the morning to babysit till 6, and then I have a store meeting at 7:30. Mind you, they live 15 minutes away from me, and I live around 15 minutes away from my job.
I woke up with some nice puffy eyes. Yay. I just want to sleep for a million years.
This child is a handful.
I wish I hadn't agreed to this. But hey, money is money, right? *sigh

Keep on keepin' on
