Sweet & Sour Sphincters
191th day of 2005
I'm not the Prime Minister of Guam, and I rarely profess to be. I'm not one to carry bricks in my wallet. And, I certainly don't have chicken fingers for toes. The fact is.. there are many things that I am not.

Now, you may begin to wonder if there is any point to this post. But, as you should know by now, there is always a point to every single one of my entries. Please do not forget that veritable fact. Point: After tonight's dinner, I realized that I am allergic to human flesh... at least to human sphincters.

I've graduated
154th day of 2005
Yup, 4 years have flew by. Now I've graduated. And, with any great graduation, there must be a great graduation present. I'm surprised they let me graduate, considering my 1.2 GPA and I had killed the school mascot (click on pic below to warp into the past)..

So, it was a pity saying goodbyes to my college buddies, most of which have already disappeared into oblivion. But, to be honest, the fact that I've graduated hasn't really sunken in yet. Maybe it's because I'll be back for another year, for grad school.

This summer, I will be interning for Intel again.. but in my hometown. That means no living expenses! I don't need to cook nor eat out, don't need to pay rent nor utilities, and I don't even have to do my own laundry. Plus, I get to pocket the relocation subsidy.

I want to get a laptop this summer. That is my summer dream. It is the most beautiful dream any college grad can have.

protein & paper towels
110th day of 2005
Wow, it's been a damn long while.

It's been like 3 weeks since spring break. To recap, we went to Universal Orlando and that's basically it. The rest is a mush of random memories and it'd be too stressful for me to separate the fact from the fiction from the faction.

My undergraduate college career ends in like.. a month. It seems that time flies by even when you're not having fun. What a mystical universe! Next year I'll be staying at Cornell for my M.Eng degree in boogalimanjuoonuziletronics.

Right now.. I'm looking for a summer internship.

I decided to launch another site: www.tabpole.com As the untelling name doesn't suggest, this is a guitar tablatures search engine. It searches through 250,000 tabs right now, and I'm just getting started!

Things I'm looking forward to...
- finale of "24"
- new "family guy"
- graduation
- passing wines class (hopefully)
- new "foo fighters" album
- money to fall out of the sky into my pants....

You are my sweet child
63th day of 2005
I just took a shower. I felt like I haven't showered in a month, when in actuality, it's only been 3 weeks. That just goes to show how time flies when you're having fun.

Anyway, to contradict my last statement, I haven't been having much fun lately. In fact, this past week I suffered through 4 exams. That's 4 more exams than last week or next week.

I need to raise ~$500 by spring break (which is in roughly 2 weeks). That's my resolution. Unfortunately, I made this resolution like 2 weeks ago and I've only made ~$50, if even.

As you must've noticed, I've been working on NuTang all day. (The site's finally somewhat firefox compatible! Oo0o0oga!!) It's time to get my act together and really launch this sweet child o' mine. I need to market this baby like never before. Suggestions? Please let me know. I need your help like this world needs free Port. Most of all, I need the power of Lyapunov!

Gewurztraminer
57th day of 2005
Dave on beverages: Gewurztraminer Raisins Egrappes (Domaine Ehrhart, Alsace, France, 2002) tastes really good. So does Arizona Iced Tea (with lemon flavor). I have about half a dozen empty cans lying around on my desk like dead, hollow metallic antelopes in the shape of cylinders decorated with some Native American pale-teal, purple, yellow design.

Dave on Spring Break: It is upon us, or at least, upon my school, like a crouching mountain lion ready to pounce on a pack of vulnerable schoolchildren sucking on overly-large lollipops. As you may have guessed, I will be heading down to Daytona Beach, FL, with some friends of mine to spend 5 quality days building sand structures reminiscent of ancient Mayan architecture.

And it seems that I have referred to myself in the 3rd-person a couple times for no apparent reason. Anyway, as always, I don't have anything meaningful to say. My back is sore after doing bicep exercises. I have been going to the gym a lot this semester. I finally can bench my own weight (i.e. 72 lbs.). I went skiing twice (for the first two times), during which I broke 40 of my 32 ribs, up (is it north of Ithaca?) at Greek Peak.

I went to the "senior night" basketball game tonight. CU versus Princeton. Obviously we used the one miracle we get every 5000 thousand years (we, being Cornell, the entire institution), and pulled a win during the final few moments of the game. Afterwards, I was so inspired by the phenomenal game that my legs began to quiver uncontrollaby, like an injured deer experiencing shock. My toes began to ferment and produced juices similar in taste to Chinon, 'Cuvee Terroir' Domaine, but with less tanun and a bit more toasty (and a hint of tropical tangerine). There was only one cure. My friends and I then headed up to play some ball at Helen Newman. It was surprisingly unpacked. We played 2 half-court games, then 2 full-court games. I beat my personal record and scored 2 baskets, both of which were for the opposing team. On observing the shock in my teammates' faces, I knew they admired my uncanny trickiness.

I've also revived Hibot.com. A lot of games have been added. Go enjoy. Now.
