There is hope: pirate radio on WMBC, UMBC's campus station and last ditch effort to divorce you from your tired playlists and save your roommates' sanity.
THE OFFER
Anyone who listens next week (Nov. 22nd) to my weekly radio show, THE SOFA KING FUN SHOW, on tuesdays from 10pm-12am, will receive a FREE CD in the mail sampling some of the music heard on the show.
All you have to do is listen to the show and when I announce the secret song, aim msg me on my aim sn (imbuddhistnudist, or another if you have any of my others) and let me know which song it was. I'll give the name and artist of the song to you over the air. All you have to do is let me know you heard it before the song ends. Then just give us an address we can mail it to and BOOM! Free CD!
Also, anyone who wins the first prize and gets three friends to listen in to the show the following week (Nov. 29th) will receive an additional prize package of goodies from WMBC and the Sofa King. All these friends need to do is be new listeners to WMBC, and aim msg me with the name and artist of the secret song for that week along with who recommended them, and VOILA! More Free Stuff for you and a cd for them! How simple is that?!
