Ladies It's Not To Late, Lloyd Still Wants You To Be His Valentine!!
Friday. 2.16.07 12:03 pm
My good friend and fellow collaborator SOHH Soul Man is doing BIG things over on his blog. If you haven’t stopped by to check out the new and improved SOHH SOULFUL blog, you need to. He just got back from the Grammy’s and will have everything Grammy related up on his blog momentarily.
He’s also just posted a contest for all the female fans of Atlanta’s most popular R&B singer, Lloyd. In accordance with his upcoming album, “Street Love,” due out in March he's released a new single titled “My Valentine.” Check out more information below.
SOHH GYANT'S DOWNLOAD OF THE DAY- LLOYD'S "MY VALENTINE"
This is one of the reasons why white people sometimes get more ahead then we do when it comes to finances. In this video, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie is showing us how spabovian he really is as he proceeds to take out his stash of cash and flip it out on the street for everyone to see.
For those who don’t know, Splaboo is what Michael Jackson calls black people. I’m not lying to, it’s in court documents. I thought the outrageous title was so ridiculous when I first heard it, but so humorous that I adopted it into my own vocabulary
Anyway, Lil Boosie needs to sit his ass down some where for real. What he needs to do is put that shit in a interesting bearing IRA, or opening a savings account with ING Direct. One of the biggest problems with us as people is our lack of experience and responsibility with cold hard cash. Somebody talk some sense into the boy.
Ok, what is wrong with this picture? Other the groupie that tried to get up in this shot, you’ve got Lloyd chillin with former porn star boyfriend of Kim Kardashian—Ray-J posing right next to current Boyfriend of Kim’s Nick Cannon.
You see ladies, we men don’t have no problem sharing hoe’s!
Alonzo Mourning and JD were photographed chillin together. Damn JD is a little ass dude.
Ludacris is definitely giving back by being photographed with these two plastic surgery twins.
Forget Black History Month. How About Sothern History Month!!

The response to last weeks post on Southern Rap History Month was overwhelming. I see you guys don’t hate EVERYTHING I do.
My selection for today’s Southern Rapper(s) who helped to put Atlanta on the map is Tag Team. For those who don’t know, or who might not be aware, Steven RollN and DC The Brain Surpreme scored a massive hit with their 1993 single "Whoomp! There It Is," which sold over four million copies, making it one of the best-selling singles of all time.
Arguably one of the most popular party rap/bass music duos of the early '90s, made the song's booming bass and endless chant of "Whoomp! There It Is" an instantly memorable and instantly popular dance/club track. The group also turned out slight variations on the song, "Addams Family (Whoomp)" and "Bulls There It Is," that year, along with a full-length album named after their first success.
Singles were Tag Team's specialty, and over the next two years the duo released plenty of them, including "Here It Is, Bam!" "Whoomp! There It Went," "U Go Girl," "Pig Power," and "Funkey Situation," which was the title cut from their 1995 album.
None of their efforts matched the success of "Whoomp! There It Is," however, their massive single was immortalized on countless party rap and jock jams compilations; after ultimately releasing a best-of album in early 2000.
While the location of the two founding members of Tag Team is unknown, they most certainly contributed to paving the way for Atlanta and the South to become the most popular city currently in music.
Yo I looked for a video EVERYWHERE and couldn’t find one on this group, what up with that?
Talk to y'all lata,

Fellas, (and some ladies), I got the new pictures from Deelishus’s new magazine spread. The powers that be over at Smooth Magazine liked Dee Dee so much that they gave her two covers for the special ‘Live In Jamaica’ issue.
Here is the first set. I will post the rest of them tomorrow!
Talk to y'all lata,

Time For Another Poppin or Floppin Video-Bow Wow "Outta My System"!!
Tuesday. 2.20.07 3:11 pm
What’s good everybody?
Well its time for another Poppin or Floppin video. This week’s video selection is none other then Atlanta import—Bow Wow. Bow Wow is still trying to some how save his latest album “The Price of Lame” by releasing another video, which will probably be his last one. The video stars relatively new artist(s) T-pain and Johnta Austin on the hook.
In my opinion Bow Wow has officially lost touch with what made him popular back from the start. His overzealous, tenny bopper fans have grown up into full fledged woman. They don’t care about these over simplified rap lyrics anymore. It barely worked for LL Cool J and it for damn sure aint working for him.
Somebody better help Bow quickly before he’s on the next season of the Surreal Life.
Check it out, and tell me what y’all think!
Until next time,
