well, i haven't been here in a while (by my standards lol)...so i'll fill you in on what's been happening. it might be kinda long...so pull up a chair and some food.

Thursday. 4.29.04 (aka "The Day of The Museum of the Big Gangbang and Wapiti!")
lol...today was messed (and funny). David's mom worked at some bank place that gave away 5 free tickets to The Museum of Natural History. so early in the morning (actually only 7:30 or something, but hey it was spring break and i was used to getting up at 10:30) my mom screams at me and my brother to wake up, forces us to eat an egg and some milk. then she slaps us around some more until we get in the car. from there we pick up David and his mom and head to a PATH trian station. after some arguing about paying over the tickets, etc. we boarded a train. one thing to note...the subway really smells bad. i dunno why i never noticed that before...but whatever. after some switching of trains, and some walking, we finally go to the museum.
i'm too lazy to write more...so here's David (Chenman278)'s account of the rest of the day (plus a few extras and spelling corrections):
Our first stop was the New York Museum of Natural History, or as I like to call it the Museum of the Big Gang Bang and Wapiti! Trust me, you don't want to know. The museum wasn't that bad but it wasn't that great either. However, we did look at a variety of animals including a deer-like mammal called the wapiti, and a strange exhibit called the Big (Gang)Bang. All the walking around and observing took a toll on our legs, minds and most importantly, stomachs. It was unanimous that the museum food was crap and that NYC chinese food would be better. You would think that there would be chinese restaurants all over the city but remember this, there aren't! We walked many blocks only to find an american diner. Being too tired and lazy, we settled for it. The food wasn't actually that bad. I ordered a hamburger and "frites" which are very skinny fries (Ahh, wtf... must be city speak that us suburban folks don't understand). After lunch, we went for a walk in Central Park, then we visited the NBC studios. It was boooooooooooring . The tour we were planning to take was sold out and the store had all this expensive stuff. However, we did find spring water made by snapple (). Finally after long hours of walking, we went home to our nice little suburban neighborhood.
Friday. 4.30.04
today wasn't special. went to David's, then Yang's house, played a lot of tennis and had tennis lessons. me, David, Yang, Alan, Lucas, and my brother all played "tennis" in David's garage.
Saturday. 5.1.04
wow, it's May! school's almost over! more tennis lessons, biking, etc. etc. etc.
Sunday. 5.2.04 (aka "The Prank Phone Call Day")
LOL today was hilarious. prank phone calling. me, David, and Kevin were using Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (a sound editor) to screw up our voices to sound like black people. then we recorded a "script" that we used on Alan Tong. it went like this: "Yo yo yo Alan Tong, you've been invited to a Halo Tournament in New York. Word is on the street, you're the best Halo player in New Jersey. So, are you coming or what? You know what, it doesn't matter. We're coming to pick you up in an hour!"-all in genuine NY black accent. LOL LMAO !!! and then we manage to convince him that it wasn't us, and that someone called us also and maybe someone was trying to kidnap us! so he's like freaked out and all that. then i went to sleep cursing my mouth off about having school tomorrow.
