About School Today
1/12/04 7:39 PM
listening to: humming of computer
watching: nothing
mood: congested (in the nose)

School was pretty good today. We have a new kid in our class! He moved in from another part of where we live, and his name is (I really don't know how to spell his name, but I'm just guessing) Auxshay. LOL I know it looks weird, but you pronounce it: AHK-shay.

We're going to have a substitute for mostly the rest of the school year because our teacher is pregnant and she's going to have a baby soon (I think in February). So...our sub is really cool, and she also has this sorta southern accent. Zac tried to trick her into thinking that we had P.E. everyday, but then our sub said, "Zac, I'm aware that we have P.E. two times a week."

Ummm...we have a science report on outer space coming up, and I'm with Monica and Sarah. We're thinking of doing a report on Apollo 11. As our backup we have Neil Armstrong, and as a backup for our backup, we're choosing black holes. I don't really want to do Neil Armstrong because I think a lot of people will do a report on him but...I guess it's fine with me.

My mom's sick with a fever and a sore throat + a cold. Bleh. Hopefully she feels better soon. :(

I gave Johannah a blend of Clay Aiken that I made for her in Photoshop, and she freaked about it. Not freaked as in a bad way, but she was totally happy. When our sub asked us what we did over the break or what we did recently, Johannah mentioned that she got (she holds up the blend) this from Debbie. LOL. Since Priya saw the blend that I made of Clay Aiken, she asked me if I could make her one of Good Charlotte, so I said yes. Of course I said yes...cuz she's my friend! And besides, it's so totally easy to make a blend (well...in my opinion). I'm almost done with the Good Charlotte blend...I just need to fill up a few white spots with some pictures and then I'm done.

Also...in history we had a sub cuz Ms. Smith was sick or something. I THINK she was sick...she's not going with a class to a field trip, or something major didn't happen, so she's probably just sick.

Here are two books I'm reading currently:

Okay, while I was browsing through the Numazon, I found some book covers for unreleased Madison Finn books! Here:

(This one is a super edition)

Okay there. I don't really have anything else to say. Byee!!

My death is weird...and scary. Jeez, I don't wanna die a brutal death.

ANYway...since today was the last day of my school winter break, my family went out to eat at the Macaroni Grill. I ate quite a lot, and now my stomach hurts, but I got really sleepy until I slept in the car. I'm not so sleepy, but still a bit. I'm going to shower after I finish blogging.

As you have noticed, I have a new layout. Maybe someday I'll actually make my own layout.

Oh yeah, ceridwen328...Eragon is about this poor farm boy (who's name is Eragon :P) who finds a stone, and it hatches into a dragon. His uncle might not be happy with the dragon and kill it, so he keeps his dragon a secret. If Eragon raises his dragon up, Eragon may become a Rider. I think that's sort of the gist of the story. Maybe you can search Eragon in Google or something...

Ummmm...I guess I am a little tired. Okay, good night! Wish me luck on the first day of the third quarter!

Okay. So about school (well...more like SUPPLIES for it)...I got this really cool pencil called Xtend. I'm using the blue-colored one, out of three. My mom liked the green one the best, so she kept that one. There was a purple Xtend pencil, but we both didn't like that one, so we just stashed it away into our pencil box at home. I got a 3 hole puncher from Staples that you could put into your binder. I had the same type, only it broke (somehow...I have no idea how! The plastic was really thick...) so my mom spotted it and bought it for me. There was ONE difference between my old 3 hole puncher and my new one: the metal that you lift up to punch your paper(s) goes a bit more over the plastic, so you can see the numbers (it's also a ruler) on the side. The metal is also harder to lift up on my new one, but it can punch up to 2 papers at a time; my old 3 hole puncher could only do 1 paper at a time.

My mom went out to dinner to eat with her friends...just for fun tonight. I ate condensed Campbells chicken noodle soup with toast for dinner. I was planning for my dad to eat chicken pot pie and warm it up in the microwave oven for him, but he wanted to eat at a restaurant. I refused to eat...except for some crackers and a scoop of ice cream. My dad and I got into sort of an argument when we entered the restaurant. The waiter asked, "Two persons?"

"No, 1 person, because I'm not eating," I said.

"Noo! It's 2 people! It's just you and me, only you're not eating!" my dad shouted. Okay, so he didn't really SHOUT, but he just said it like he was annoyed. The waiter laughed and took one menu.

After the waiter went away and my dad and I were sitting down, my dad said, "There you go again! You need to change your attitude."

"What did I do wrong?" I said.

"It should be two people, but just one menu!"

My dad also said that he doesn't like me saying "never mind", "nothing", or "whatever" too much. *sigh* Is my dad controlling me or going crazy? Or is it both? Once, I heard my sister even say that he might have a chemical inbalance in his brain.

*sigh* Nvm. Let me just let that thought drift out of my mind. At Costco today, I bought a new book! Here:

There was a new food item added onto the Costco food menu: churros! I love them!!!!!! The churros were pretty good, but not as soft as the ones at Disneyland and California Adventure.

Ummmmm...let's see what else I have to say...Tiffany hasn't called me lately, but I can always call her. Maybe tomorrow, cuz right now it's too late (it's 10:00 PM...I shouldn't stay up too late because I got to get used to sleeping early and waking up early because of school starting on Monday).

Hilary Duff's hosting Teenick on Sunday. Woops, I forgot the time. Oh well. Another ad would probably pop up. And I can always read the new TV guides that are coming out tomorrow (or was it on Sunday...? Oh wait...I don't get mail on Sunday!).

Hmm...I was going to say something else, but I forgot. OH well. Maybe it'll come to me later and I'll edit this entry.

Bye!!!!!

*Sigh* Almost Back to School...
1/8/04 11:18 AM
watching: nothing
listening to: dad's TV in the next room
mood: tired

Wondering why I'm not in school yet? Well...it's because I'm in the year-round system. That means for every break, except for the summer break, we have is 3 week long. For the summer break, we have 5 weeks.

Ummm...I dunno what else to say. Well, I have an orthodontist appointment (did I ever mention that I had braces?) today at 3:00. I think they're going to change the wires to a thicker one this time. There's this boy named Brandon W. in my class, and he said that when you get power chains, your teeth hurt for an extra few days. Ouuuccchhh...as if when your braces get tightened it hurts enough!

Tiffany seems to be very excited for the math team tryouts in the third semester. Her friend Ivy and is a semi-finalist, and so is Tiffany. I got eliminated in the first round. *shrugs* Oh well...maybe next year.

I'm thinking of making another blend of Hilary Duff...I think I know how to make an ACTUAL blend, now. Just took some tinkering and playing around with the gradients and stuff.

I had swimming yesterday, despite my hurting toe. Yes...it still hurts . But I think it's going to get better soon...hopefully before school starts. Well...at least my toe hurts a lot less. :)

Well, I don't have anything else to say. I feel like changing the layout...I'm getting sick of it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!
Thursday. 1.1.04 12:17 pm
watching: the computer monitor...duh!
listening to: the humming of the computer
mood: happy

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope all of you had a great 2003! But now, I'll have to get used to writing 04 instead of 03.

To celebrate the coming year yesterday, my mom, dad, and I went to Fashion Island. There a little pond with lots of coys (did I spell that right?)...a type of fish. There was this one boy who was there feeding the coys fish food, but the ducks ate it up eventually (it was really funny watching the boy trying the chase away the ducks verbally). My mom and I talked to him for a little while. But I DO have to say...he was pretty cute. Once he tried putting goldfish into the lake near his house, but the sea bass ate them up. He never tried putting coys into the lake.

Well, I hope all of you had a great year, and hopefully have another great year...of 2004!!!!

P.S. I stubbed my toe during the countdown to the New Year...what a way to greet the new year! Now it's not swollen but it hurts. I know my toe's not broken because I can still move it, although it hurts when I put pressure on it or bend it.

Christmas Eve
Wednesday. 12.24.03 7:52 pm

Hey everyone! I just wanted to wish everybody a Merry Christmas (Eve), and Happy Holidays!

I'll tell you what I did today...

For lunch, my mom, my dad, and I (sadly not with my sister) went to this Malaysian restraunt, and the food was sooooooooo good!!! I stuffed myself with food until I had a stomach ache. I don't have one anymore, though, and I feel much better.

Yesterday I went to Sarah's house, and we played lots of stuff like Twister Moves, the present I got her for her birthday.

Today doesn't really feel special, because my sister is constantly blasting out music from my room, and she keeps on messing my computer up with all the music she's been downloading. Ugh...oh well. Christmas is a time of forgiveness, so I guess I'm not really THAT mad.

I'll show you what I got as early Christmas presents:

Well, I couldn't find an image of the dance pad for the DDR game, but it was from the manufactoror of Pelican.

Oh yeah, I added a new poem to my reading room. It's called "Am I a Bad Friend?" Hope you all like it!!!!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
