what happened to i like you?

well, this is an old discussion. but i thought i would over analyze it so i can stop thinking about it for good.
what happened to i like you? i mean, ok, say you like someone, and i mean, really like someone, and they like you. so theres a mutual liking on the part on the whole liking situation. when you talk to them on the phone, how come before you hang up the phone you dont say i like you? like when you love someone you say i love you before you get off the phone. what happened to i like you? why doesnt anyone say i like you before you hang up the phone with someone who you do infact like? understandably,you dont want to overstate it, but still why is it that we use i love you so openly and hardley use i like you at all. when i love you is supposed to ten times more important, and yet its used so much more openly.
think of it this way, i like you starts everything. if one of you didnt say i like you, be it to you, or a friend of a friend of a friend of carl's than you have never known that they were interested in you. or that they wanted to get to know you better, you wouldnt know jack shit. if they didnt say i like you, you would have never talked to them, scheduled a date, and or hang out event, called them on the phone. or decided to make a move and kiss them. without i like you , you could never get to i love you. well actually thats a lie, you could get to i love you, but then you would seemed rushed, and it would look like you just say it openly all the time, therefore making i love you not as big. but in a way, its kinda getting that way. because now-a-days, everyone says i love you to everyone, i love you, or i love him, or i love her, or i love this and that. you people are taking advantage of the word. i mean, how the hell do you know that you love him/her/it?! thats the real question, if you can say love so openly than you better damn well know what the hell it is. because you dont wanna walk around like the village bicycle of i love yous just giving everyone a free ride. i dunno, just a thought, think about it. and get back to me when you can.

this is my entire thinking for the creation of this here nutang site. i want to try something new, it honestley seems so much better, to be able to come here and write, so i think thats what ill do. in a way i guess you could say i have slowly started to reach the point of no return. i decided to try something new, because as much as i love xanga, its just not as fun as it used to be. this seems more complex and fun to do. so yeah, this is the beginning to something new.
