what a day it was indeed. was up at about 9:30, called my roomie, she sounds cool.. and went shopping for things to make food with, yay cookingness!! then i spent at least 3 hours doing the food/waiting for the crew to arrive.
but the food ended up being ok nonetheless. we went to the park and 'sika and the destructor wandered off many times, and me and the teacher just stayed at the pinic place. poor teacher, he bonked his head and was out of commision for a good twenty minutes at least. but he bounced right back and we had one of the best minja matches ever!!! I almost had the minja several times.. once i had it halfway outta q's grip. hehehe. he made up for it by makin me stumble backwards while under siege until i plopped down on the bench. i coulda fought back, but i figured after a couple steps backward that i might as well go all the way. *nod*
and then we just chilled... *sigh* so very very nice.
after a while we headed out... 'cause it was raining and we wanted to hit the korean market and get neat things.. and then go to a movie. at the azn store, i got plum candy.. yum!! and a set of 48 oil pastels.. for $15!!! I couldn't resist... i been wanting to learn oil pastels anyway.. why not now?
and we went to the movies and saw 28 days later. word to the wise: don't waste your money. it sucked. cheesy. predictable. horrible soundtrack that didn't fit at all. horrible special effects. bad acting. the part where the girl was on drugs and was all in a crisis about to die sorta thing and was like "oh, i feel fine. really.. humdehum..." was probably a highlight..
it was bad.....
and then they had their lil alternate ending thing at the end... >.< 'sika.. or mebe cory.. sad that a lot of ppl woulda felt cheated with that ending. I said "I feel cheated anyway."
I felt bad, tho, 'cause they all wanted to see freddy vs. jason. but i'm not into skeery movies like that unless the trailer is cool... like 28 days later..... even tho it sucked.
so after the movie we hung out in the parking lot for a bit, had another minja match, got some pictures took. then 'twas to the gas station and home. i was sad it ended.. but i'm not gonna last much longer, so it was for the best.
yeah, i'ma go now.. now that i got my new colors up... and munched some things.. i'm ready to go.
^^ i wish all days could be as nice as this one was.
