i realized something about my last entry. since i'm first in intercollegiate orchestra, that makes me... the best classical college french horn player in the city of richmond.

wow... what a week this has been so far. without a doubt the best week of my life to date.
i made 2nd chair in the symphonic wind ensemble... really really good.
i also made principal seat in the intercollegiate orchestra!!! i beat seniors!!!!

I was walking down the street today on the way to lunch (mmm... chinese.....) and a thought occurred to me. even though life may be rough sometimes, and sometimes it seems as though absolutely everything is going wrong, and even when it's not, sometimes evil has good pinned... even though life is hard, it is so good to be alive.
i know just six months ago i thought it really sucked to be alive... but even though i'm not completely baffled by the logic i used, my current logic defeats it.. single-handedly... or maybe with its hands duct-taped behind its back.....
man, it's good to be alive!!!
*inhales the incredibly light air surrounding me* man, you know, if people were just patient, and let things go as they would, let things happen, good and bad, and deal with them as they come... if people could be calm like that, no one would need drugs, there would be no suicide... if people could just be patient. and just take things as they happen...
shoot... *peaceful* how people could deliberately hurt each other is beyond me.. especially now. life is just too good to waste time being negative. life is short.. you have to be prepared to run with it...
*feels all poetic and mystical now* ooooo...
lol.
but yes. It Is Good To Be Alive!!!!

yeah, this weekend's been decent. went out yesterday with my rents and they didn't cuss each other out, go figure... i got dishes!!
and today quincy came over whoo hoo!!! ^^ much fun!!
but now i feel all lonely. v.v i hate sayin goodbye... i was hopin it was temporary but apparently i gotta wait a couple more weeks. *snif*
man, and i made beef!! *tantrum* o(^O^)o
oh well. at least i gots to see 'im! :-)

but i found a 133+ box to sit in and get cozy. *nod* boxes are great.
and it's the weekend and my roomie's out of town for some family get-together or something. so i am here alone.. whoo.... knowing my luck some freak will break down the door and rape me or something. and then kill me... and then desecrate my corpse. apparently that sort of thing has happened before..
