It's 8:30 am and I'm already up and moving.I'm proud I motivated myself into the shower. Still 2.5 years later I have issues with showering because I'm so busy with the kids. This was a lovely shower where I used up every ounce of hot water.*KACHOW*

So it's a snow day. Oh boy! How bad does that suck the day before the big valentines day party for the kindergarten. They're all so bummed I'm sure I know Kahli is she was looking forward to decorating her box for her valentines. I spent 3 hours stuffing candy bags on sunday afternoon. Atleast they don't cancel special events and they will still get to have it when they go back to school they just delay it the number of days school was closed.

Yesterday was truely adorable. I've come to realize what truely amazing kids I have. After supper Ricky took it upon himself to clear the dinner dishes, scrape them, rinse them and load the dishwasher. He's 3 going on 4 I'd say that is pretty amazing. We spent the better part of the evening before passing out throughout the livingroom watching DVD's. It was nice to just cuddle up as a family and enjoy time together. I don't think we do that enough.

I woke up at around 12:30am and decided to check the weather advisory and all that crap to a suicidal computer. After defragmenting it and rebooting it it works slightly better... NOT MUCH but slightly. Any idea what ORANGE fragments area bout? I know they can't be good. Doesn't help that I've been downloading alot of music lately.

ROTFLMAO... Mims being my best friend in the entire world was blessed enough to b sent pictures of the burns.... One day we were talking and discussing how we know entirely to much about eachother. Hence our quote, " You will always be my friend you know to much"...

Not Exactly a HAPPY NEW YEAR.....
Current mood: indifferent

As it is a tradition in my family to celebrate New Years with Pork and Saurcraut. Well, since this year my parents are in the process of divorce my mom and brother came to spend New Years with me. So I decided to carry on the tradition to my house. Now, I went and bought everything that was needed the pork roast, saurcraut, kilbasa, sausages, and hot dogs put them all in a roaster and into the oven. About halfway through cooking time I opened the oven to stir it.

(Now be sure you are sitting down, and feel free to laugh)

The oven rack collapsed and the roaster shot out and dumped all over the floor, I turned to see what had happened... I proceeded to slip and end up doing a split in to the saurcraut... And yes, it was BOILING hot. This is not just a story it's true... It is infact how I rang in 2005. So I shot up stripped off my pants (in the middle of my kitchen mind you) my brother, mother, her boyfriend, and "little sister" were all standing there as I ran back and jumped into a cool bath. After I sat there about 30 minutes I went to the ER. 1st-2nd-3rd degree burns on my inner thighs rear end and ummm unmentionables. I'm currently on Vicoden for the pain and silvadine cream for the burns. OH IT'S FUN!

Now as I said... Feel free to laugh. It is funny... Just painful.

So, When my children were smaller my mother would never take on the task of two children at once. She would only take Kahli the older one and never rick because he was to small to do anything with. Partially understandable.

So now. My kids are nearly 4 and nearly 6 and she takes them every other weekend. (yay) For 24 hours so that I may have some peace in my life. Recently she's taken on the task of babysitting for a girl she works with. Mind you this girls children are 18 monthes and 7 monthes. (Somone wasted no time having babies) Today. I'm amused. My mother has all 4 kids. Because she can't not take her grandchildren and she can't not babysit. I hope she's enjoying it.

Quickly she is learning all that judgement passing she did when my children were small wasn't warrented that children that small are mini hurricaines. I love it. Now on top of it she has my two. My son who is nearly 4 now is a neat freak. He cleans all the time so surely he's following behind the older child cleaning her messes... My daughter is nearly 6 and lazy. You tell her to clean her room and she pee's 6000000000 times.

Anywho... I'm just enjoying the idea that she is learning what it's like to have little ones again... She never had two by the time my brother came along I was 7 and in school.
