We had a blizzard. I wrote, and wrote, and wrote. I posted 100 entries on my other site. I want to make $3 by the end of February on this site. That means I'll have to earn just under a 1.50 (or about 5 cents a day; that's a lot and it means I'll be spending much more time here; a big yay for my Nutang readers I'm sure).

I love Nutang; I earn money even if I don't post. Of course, I get more if I post. But if I'm busy or something, I earn money anyway.

On Sunday, it's now Monday, I went to a community organizing meeting. The group's goal is to provide community aid without needing the government. I'm all for that. We can lend ourselves to lawn mowing, babysitting, whatever. We can raise money for the food bank or the after prom party at our high school. We're going to have a prom party for adults, with no alcohol for us either. It's a good example for them. Now, I need a date and dress! What fun!

Then the van service forgot me and I had to walk home. Beginning my Monday with a glass of blueberry juice. Then it's off to bed and finishing my book, which is really good.

I woke up later than I wanted to today and then the van service came earlier than they told me they were going to come. It was not my day. I went to therapy today and had a good session. My therapist makes me think about things in new ways which I guess is her job. I am poor now because I lent people money because I felt bad that my workers checks were late. I won't be doing that again because people don't pay me back when they say they're going to. I had to borrow money from my therapist today to get back home. If I don't get money back by Friday (at least some of it), I won't be able to apply for this fellowship which has a reading fee. Then, some heads will roll. I can't even do my laundry which I really need to do because I have absolutely no money.

Everything in the stores is all decked out for Valentine's Day. I'm so single it's hopeless. Another lonely February 14th for me. My ex always thought it was stupid, but I like it even though it is created by Hallmark.

I haven't been here in awhile. It's true. So, just to catch you all up this is what's been going on. I went to the ER on Sunday again because my leg wouldn't straighten out and other people couldn't get it to straighten out either. Finally, the doctor had to give me a shot of like really hard core pain killer (even harder than the stuff I've been taking) to make it behave. Then, they increased my dosage of pain killer. Every four hours without fail except when I'm sleeping. That's five pills a day sometimes and always four. That's more narcotics than I've ever been on in my whole life. I can't wait to see the orthopedist next week. For the past two days, I've been up and around pretty well and getting work done.

I've decided to try to enter this poetry contest from Pavement Saw Press. Now, my only job is to figure out what I want to send them. It's due by August 15th. I have two months. I really need to get some publication credits in before I apply for the Amy Lowell Fellowship in 2012 which I really feel could make my literary career if I got it. I'm also going to submit to this new radical political poetry magazine I was made aware of. I signed up for another paid to write site, and I'll let you know how it goes. They have a $5.00 signing bonus. The payout is $20.00. I finally made $3.00 here and that's a good thing. Only took me since October, but I haven't really paid as much attention to here as I should have.

In other news, all plans for the extraction of my friend from his house in Tennessee are going well. I guess I'll spend the first week of July in various offices with him getting him services. That's what I was really born to do. I'm just not as good at it as other people. However, as he says he doesn't know the other people but he knows me. I wonder if my friends went through this when they had to do the same thing with me. I really must thank them again if it was this difficult.

You all know the kind I mean. The kind where nothing goes right. The kind where your first plan doesn't happen so you make a back-up plan and that goes wrong too. My first plan was to have been at poetry writing group but this afternoon I felt horrible so I opted to cancel my ride. Of course, by the time 5pm rolled around I felt better but couldn't reschedule the ride. As a back-up plan I opted to attend the Farmer's Market in town. However, I discovered that my ATM card didn't work because I'd reported fraudulent charges on it so there was no Farmer's Market for me.

After that, I came home, called my mom to ask if she could lend me $50.00 out of my birthday money that she still has custody of. That led to a long mother lecture which of course is not what you're in the mood for when you found out that your ATM card doesn't work and your plans have all gone to hell. So this evening I basically sat around listening to a book and playing a video game which raises money for disability rights. At least that's good. I decided, however, to at least write a little bit so this day wasn't a complete loss. Also, in a final dose of "who in the universe did I piss off?" I was going to try getting into my wheelchair on my bad leg tomorrow to give my good leg a rest but now my painkillers are gone. I don't really want to try that with no pain killers so I guess it's off to the doctor with me tomorrow. Can anything else happen?
