Jay-Z vs. Jadakiss
Since it's release, people have been buzzing about a line from Jay-Z's "Do It Again."
"Fuck the flow, yall jackin' our slang / I seen the same shit happen to Kane / Three cuts in your eye brows tryin' to wild out."
Some say, it's pointed at Jadakiss of The Lox. Everyone knows that The Lox's single "Wild Out" has a similar chorus as "Jigga My Nigga." Jadakiss has also claimed to be the best rapper since Big died, a claim that Jay-Z has also made. Comment! 50 Cent and Sean "Diddy" Combs ended their feud Wednesday after mutual acquaintances of the two moguls persuaded them to end their beef, official sources said.
Sources close to the negotiations told AllHipHop.com that the two spoke in person last night (Sept. 6) about their verbal jabs at each other on upcoming albums and mixtapes.
"We are definitely doing a 'cease fire,'" Chris Lighty, CEO of Violator Management, told AllHipHop.com.
According to sources, 50 Cent's complaint with Combs emerged after the Bad Boy mogul refused to release Bad Boy recording artist Mase from contractual binds so that he could sign to 50 Cent's G-Unit imprint.
50 Cent lashed out at Combs on Hip-Hop Is Dead: G-Unit Radio Part 22, a new mixtape.
Who shot Biggie Smalls/If we don't get them they're gonna kill us all/Man, Puffy know who hit that ni**a, man, that n***a saw him/He's scared 'dem boys from the West Side will break him off, jump on his ass,so he run to Harlem to shake 'em off," 50 Cent raps on the song "Hip-Hop.
Elsewhere on the mixtape, the track called "Get Down," featuring Tony Yayo and Hot Rod, finds 50 Cent taking more jabs at Combs.
However, an unreleased version of the intro track to Combs' upcoming album Press Play began circulating the internet, leading to speculation that Diddy's yelling of "I'm richer, b***h!" on the song was directed at 50 Cent.
Sources said that the track was recorded before Combs' and 50's beef went public. In an interview with Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex, Combs downplayed the turmoil between himself and 50.

Mogul and restaurateur Sean "Diddy" Combs and his longtime girlfriend Kim Porter are expecting twins.
Combs has an eight-year-old son named Christian Casey with Porter and a 12-year-old son named Justin, from a previous relationship with Misa Hylton-Brim. Porter also has a 15-year-old son named Quincy from a previous relationship with Al B. Sure.
"When you hear some news like that, it kinda blows your mind in a great way," Sean "Diddy" Combs told AllHipHop.com. "From a far, you see other people talk about twins and it's hard to grasp the reality of that. On a short note, I was happy before, I am ecstatic now."
Combs, who is known for his international exploits, said he was welcoming the opportunity to clear his schedule for his new family members.
"I definitely think it's gonna slow me down a little bit more because I gotta do what I'm supposed to do," Combs said. "I gotta make sure the majority of my time is spent making sure my kids are straight. I aint gonna slow down all the way, but I am going to slow down a little bit."
The good news comes as Combs prepares his new album Press Play, which is due in stores Oct. 17.

Rapper Eve has come on board as the newest spokeswoman for M.A.C. Cosmetics' new M.A.C Viva Glam VI campaign.
Eve will join fellow celebrities Debbie Harry, Dita Von Teese and Lisa Marie Presley for the campaign. Proceeds from sales of the company's Viva Glam VI lipstick and lipglass will be donated to the M.A.C AIDS Fund, an organization that supports men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS globally.
"In some countries there are not enough doctors, nurses or hospitals to deliver existing HIV treatments," Eve said. "We need to develop these hospitals and bring in more medical professionals in these countries so when new treatments or a cure is found, we know how to get it to people who need it most."
In addition to the star-studded line up, the Fund announced that $6 million in grants will go to 12 organizations addressing crucial areas of need affecting the HIV/AIDS epidemic and those living with the virus.
The effort is the Fund's largest effort to date. The grants will be used to address treatment adherence, the need for prevention efforts in high-risk populations; increasing the number of doctors and nurses in countries that need it most and providing survival-based needs such as food and housing to those living with HIV/AIDS.
"Our Viva Glam VI spokespeople cut through the clutter," added John Demsey, M.A.C. global president Fund chairman. "They are all incredibly talented and have strong and distinct points-of-view and unique perspectives on this crisis."
Besides raising overall awareness and support of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, the women will help educate the public on the emerging issues being addressed by the 12 grantees.
They will also be featured in a series of Viva Glam VI campaign portraits, shot by celebrated photographer Michael Thompson.
More than $70 million has been raised for the organization since its establishment in 1994.
