I am in the process of reading yet another Patricia Cornwell novel. This one being The Last Precinct. It’s pretty good, of course. And I would like to get back to that novel. So I still have to find something to talk about, finish up these 100 words and get my butt back to that book. I can’t imagine going to bed without finishing it.

Today Aubree has been extra bad, and extra loud. I don’t know what got into her but it’s driving me nuts. I wish I had a babysitter so I could have a day of peace.

I found an ad in the Wednesday paper for a yard sale with a treadmill for sale. Mom is pretty excited about that because she really wants a treadmill. It would not hurt if I used it either. Do 20 minutes of jogging or something to try to get fit. At least that wouldn’t make squeaky noises like the air walker thingy.

While I am on the topic of exercise, I’m feeling proud of myself because I have stuck with it. Every night during the news I do the air walking machine for around 20-25 minutes. Then around 120-130 crunches.

Today has been a good day. I got up early so I could go with mom to a yard sale which had children’s clothing up to 4T. So we went and got quite a bit for Aubree. In both 3T and 4T. She is definitely good to go. Their were tons of cute outfits and such to choose from. We picked up some jeans and t-shirts as well as a couple outfits and 2 pairs of pajamas. To add to the fun I bought myself a new purse from walmart. It was marked down to $5. I love discounted things.

I am quite happy that it is Monday. It means that NBC is starting up with their new shows and new episodes of my favorite shows. Tonight is Chuck, Heroes and Journeyman. I am not so thrilled about Journeyman. I predict it will go down in flames after about 3 episodes. If not, then I’m the only one that thinks the show sounds stupid. I am hoping that NBC won’t go canceling all their damn new shows after only 2 or 3 episodes like they did last year. That was pretty lame, and some of the shows were actually good!

I’m so glad that the biggest loser is on tonight. I was starting to lose my motivation on the treadmill. I try and try for that mile, but I just can’t seem to make it past a half mile without wanting to just give in to my need to stop. I am going to continue to push myself until I can make my mile goal. I miss the days when I was sixteen years old. I used to walk 3 miles a day and loved it. That was a while ago. I stopped because I got bit by a dog.

Last night I went online to see how much a new treadmill would cost and I found something for $129. It’s a manual one. Well we went to Meijer to see if we could find it in store, so I wouldn’t have to order it off the internet. While in the store I found a stair stepper machine on sale from $230 to $80.50. Mom loaned me the money for it, I’ll pay her off next month.

It’s nifty. It’ll tell you a variety of things like your heart rate, speed, distance and calories burned. I got a good deal.
