Block Entertainment/Bad Boy lyricist Yung Joc has teamed with the Raw Report to give viewers an inside look at his life in the new DVD, The Jocumentary, scheduled to arrive in stores on Nov. 14.

Produced by the Raw Report, the new documentary follows an uncensored Joc in his travels and contains interviews and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

The DVD boasts guest appearances by Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jim Jones, Kevin Liles, Rick Ross and Paul Wall among others.

"People only hear the hit records but I wanted them to know what it takes to get there,” Yung Joc said. "From the video shoots to the performances, now the fans can see firsthand how it really goes down."

"Now the world can see up close the drive that Diddy and I first saw in Joc," added Russell "Block" Spencer, CEO of Block Entertainment. "It's one thing to watch a music video, but the Raw Report shows the uncut truth like nobody else."

Viewers will also be able to access current and future episodes of the Raw Report DVD Magazine through MixCast’s online video portal or download it through MixCast's video on demand service.

In June, Yung Joc’s debut album New Joc City landed at number one on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Album Chart with 149,000 units sold, as well as number three on the Billboard Top 200.

Busta Rhymes is expanding the sounds of his Flipmode Squad to include R&B and has inked a deal with former Blackstreet frontman Chauncey Black.

Black's solo debut Church Boy features guest appearances by The Game, Young Buck, Rah Digga, Labb, Spliff Star and Busta Rhymes, while Dr. Dre, LT Hutton, Davel "Bo" McKenzie and Teddy Riley handled production of the album.

“Seeing what he did with Blackstreet and knowing dude’s talent first hand, I knew without a doubt he would represent the Flipmode squad well,” Busta Rhymes told AllHipHop.com in a statement.

As a member of Teddy Riley's group Blackstreet, Black hit the charts with songs like "Before I Let Go" and "Booti Call," which were featured on the group's 1994 self-titled debut.

Blackstreet found mainstream success in 1996 with the #1 single "No Diggity," which featured Dr. Dre and Queen Pen. The group won a Grammy Award for "No Diggity" in 1998, taking the Best R&B Performance by a group or duo category.

“I’ve been all over the world with Blackstreet and I feel good about stepping in my own lane and showing people what I can do,” Black said of Church Boy, which will be released through Flipmode/Motown/Universal.

The first singles from the album are "Ride or Die" which features Young Buck and Rah Digga and a balled titled “Everyday Is Your Birthday.”

Church Boy is slated to hit stores in early 2007.

The Top 10 Atlanta Artists In The Game
    Monday. 8.28.06 6:20 pm
And I bet you thought you were going to get my rundown of the Top 10 Atlanta artists in this game we call hip hop. But nope, that's too close to call right now and it depends on key factors like what are we basing it on? M.I.C. skills, sales, or commercial success, the list would vary for each category. Stay tuned for my list in the future. You know the Southern list is the official list anyway, no bulls%^t. However, I did run across a fairly recent list on the net that by Atlanta Music Editor, Joy Johnston that went something like this... 1. Ludacris 2. T.I. 3. Outkast 4. Jermaine Dupri 26063154.jpg 5. Young Jeezy 6. Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz 7. Bonecrusher 8. Youngbloodz 9. Dem Franchise Boyz 10.Cee Lo Like I said, I have no idea what this list is based on but you can click here to hear her reasoning for her selections. I have a few arguments, the big one being Cee Lo so far down on the list no matter what the criteria. p56324ig9ta.jpg Also, a Belfast newspaper published an interesting story on Outkast yesterday and it was real interesting how they compared the swagger of the two in the leading paragraphs, especially Dre'. It's interesting to see some of the overseas perspectives of the two. Regardless, they're probably buzzin' about the opening day sales figures. I know that by the time I hit the stores, it was a serious search to find a CD here. COMMENTS USE LINK http://blogs.sohh.com/atlanta/archives/2006/08/the_top_10_atla_1.html

Foxy Brown Skips Another Court Date, Warrant Issued for Her Arrest
    Monday. 8.28.06 6:39 pm
Monday - August 28, 2006 by Dick Johnson Foxy Brown Days after missing a court appearance in Jersey City, NJ, Foxy Brown has skipped another court date in Manhattan Criminal Court this morning, resulting in the judge issuing a warrent for her arrest. While Foxy (born Inga Marchand) had a 9:30 am court date, a court clerk told SOHH that the Brooklyn, NY rapper was still a no show well over an hour and a half after the hearing was slated to begin. "It doesn't look like she's gonna show up," a Manhattan Criminal Court clerk told SOHH. "I'm not sure how long they're going to be waiting for her." According to reports, Brown was in Jamaica for a performance and was unable to make her flight back to New York due to Hurricane Ernesto. Fox was to appear in court for allegedly assaulting two manicurists of Manhattan's Bloomie Nails back in 2004. The case was initially scheduled to head to court in July, but was postponed until August. Brown failed to appear at an unrelated court appearance in Jersey City last Wednesday. Fox's former personal assistant is alleging that the rapper harassed her and threatened her via emails and phone calls after she attempted to collect money owed to her. In related news, a day after missing her NJ court date (August 24) Brown was accused of stealing two belts valued at $400 a piece, at a high end New York boutique. The store owner has pressed charges. [Want to discuss Foxy's downfall? Share your thoughts here on our Ya Heard? blog.] http://www.sohh.com/articles/article.php/9688
