i bought a Google Cardboard. it is amazing for the one day i've used it so far.
my grandfather is turning 90 tomorrow. whaaaaaat where does the time go?
i'm going down to see him tomorrow along with my siblings. should be fun. it's been hard for him since his girlfriend died last year.

i have Netflix.
i have HuluPlus.
i have Amazon Prime.
and i still can't find a legit place to watch the Sherlock Christmas special.
i can find plenty of illegal streaming services online, but usually the quality sucks and there is tons of lag.

so it was snowing this morning in Maryland. a few flurries. they closed Baltimore county schools. now it's just drizzling (if anything; I can't even see anything coming down). the roads are just wet. not sure why schools were closed.
i made donuts on Sunday for super bowl festivities. they were pretty darn tasty for the first donuts I've ever made. I wish I took pictures.
what's for dinner?

oh yeah! so the tattoo expo was a ton of fun. it's so weird; i would normally categorize people completely covered in tattoos as people that don't want to talk to you because they're scary and mean. however, this couldn't be further from the truth. the community of people is so awesome. everyone is just happy to see you and everyone appreciates everyone else's artwork. a lot of them are salesmen, and their trade just happens to be cutting people open with needles.
going to another expo in april (the baltimore tattoo convention). i might get some work done there, so i preemptively took the entire following week off.
damn, january flew by.
I'm excited to see deadpool.

I'm going to the d.c. tattoo expo tomorrow. never been to any sort of expo before. the biggest events I've been to are regional smash tournaments and odyssey of the mind competitions on the 90's. it's the gonna be (trump voice) huge.
getting a piece done at an expo/convention is terrifying to me, because it'll more than likely be by someone you have never seen/heard, and there's the added pressure of a huge crowd on both the tattooist and the tattooed.
...not that i am dying to get a piece done tomorrow. it would just be a fun little "you know what? fuck it" moment. i am mostly excited to see the scene. i know i won't fit in.
then, dim sum on sunday. then, a company party.
and here... we... go...
