Today was my first school day of the Fall semester. I'm taking Calculus II and Texas Government. I got there like an hour early because I still needed to buy my books, I bought them, and believe me, they weren't cheap, they were like $300 for both books. Then I went to my first class, Cal 2, took off the plastic wrap of the huge text book, and when the class was over the teacher told me that we weren't using that book, but the old edition. WHY DIDN'T HE TELL ME BEFORE I OPENED IT!!!! Well, I kinda panicked because I didn't know if they would give me a refund at the bookstore after I had opened it, but I had to try anyways. So I went back there and they did give me a refund, yay!!! I got $200 back, so now I'm not broke, LOL.
Then I went to Texas Gov, and the instructor of that class is the same one I had in History 1. He's pretty cool, but weird sometimes xP I'm looking forward to it.
Oh, and I got accepted at the Blogvertise website! w0000t.
I couldn't go pick them up yesterday, but my husband went in my place. They came home and spent about 30 minutes in their taxi cab while we set up their cage. After that me and them went into the restroom to play. Jesse is crazy! She was bouncing all over the place, it was funny She did nip a couple of times at first, but I think it was because of all the excitement, once she calmed down it didn't happen again. Clifford is more relaxed and was calmingly exploring everything, he's such a sweetheart, and he gave me kissies! He loved the shredded paper box, hehe. Once Lauro finished fixing up the wires of the computer so they wouldn't chew on them we let them out to explore our room.
I found out from Jesse's papers that her birthday is one day after mine, so we'll celebrate together next month
Jesse is the albino, and Clifford the sable. Jesse isn't scary at all in person, it's just the flash that makes her eyes glow and look evil ;) She's the hyper of the two, and Clifford is the smart one that found the places i didn't want him to go really quick xP like the cupboard under the sink, and behind the fridge, I'll have to block those places somehow so they don't harm themselves.
I recently found out about a site called Blogsvertise while looking for ways to make money online. On this site you can earn money by blogging, pretty cool huh? From what I've gathered the way it works is you sign up, and if you get approved they send you tasks to your email of things you have to blog about. If your blog entries get accepted you get payed a month later by paypal. The payments range from $4 to $25 per blog entry.
Blogsvertise is an excellent site to make some extra cash for those people that like to blog. Some of the requirements on the site are that your blog is older than 30 days and you have to have content, and of course, no porn sites. I've had this blog since October 2006, but I deleted most of my old entries, I hope this isn't a problem =/, I'm still waiting for Blogsvertise's approval.
I just found out about this program at my college for Hispanic students that are planning on becoming teachers. If you join it they give you a free laptop! But when i called they said that you needed less than 29 hours, and i have like 33 D= I've already taken the courses you needed to be taking now or in the future so they can check on your progress. This sucks. I guess I'll have to wait til christmas to get a new lappy.
OMG, i want one now! I have a silver nano with only 2gig, so it only holds about 150 songs, and that's not enough for me I think I want either the red one or the black one. It has a 320 x 240 resolution display, which is bigger than the old nano, and it's also brighter. They come with 4gig or 8 gig, and i think the 4 gig is $149. I think I know what i'm getting for my bday next month! w00t
I can't wait for the third season to start! First episode will air on Sept 21. I feel so bad for Uncle Iroh =[ But I think Zuko will pull a Snape on us.
