it's the 5th!
i just got done exercising. i'm in the middle of my recovery week for insanity. it is barely recovery though. i am tired at the end of it, and my muscles are aching.
i'm going to make some fish for dinner, with some butternut squash on the side.
i need to shower. i'm all sweaty.

Damn. Now it's the 4th and I've missed another day.
I had a protein shake for breakfast. THAT'S ALL THAT HAPPENED TODAY.
Oh. And the Ravens won the Superbowl. Hooray, Maryland.
And the Oreo library commercial was my favorite from yesterday.

i'm not entirely sure i knew that we were doing one entry per day for february.
i already missed february 1st, and here is my february 2nd entry. i will probably miss many more days this month, but i will try to be as active as i can.
so i had my second weigh-in at work for the weight loss competition, and i had lost 6.5 pounds over the two week period. it's a good start! so far i've lost 13 pounds this year.
i also told some other people in the work competition that i was going to crush them, so now they are super motivated to defeat me. not gonna happen though. i'm a beast.
this morning, i had scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, soy chorizo, greek yogurt, and peach salsa. it was amazing.

so i'm two weeks into the insanity workout, and i know it may not sound like much, but i can now make it through the entire warm-up without stopping for water or air. woohoo!
i had my first weigh-in for my work's biggest loser competition. i need to beat everyone in the entire company to win, so that is my plan. i feel like most of my competition is older women anyway, so i will probably crush it. not to be sexist or anything. it's just that my gender makes me supreme. just kidding.
it's my commitment that will win me this twelve week competition. and so far, so good.
plus i need to be healthier. i've been drinking fresh fruit smoothies instead of eating desserts. i'm incorporating a lot of vegetarian dishes into my days. i'm not eating fast food anymore. i've given up soda and (so far) beer.

it's a new year, and a year for redemption.
i'm going to actually try to get into better shape over the new few months, and hopefully for the rest of my life.
send me your prayers, for i am constantly getting injured when i try to exercise on the reg.
i'll update frequently with my progress. if i remember.
