Proficiency Course in Zhuang.

There will be a class every Monday from 1.00 p.m. - 2.00 p.m in MB107.
Twelve classes have been scheduled for this semester (tentatively, there
will not be any class in the Reading Week), but this may be subject to

Proficiency Course in Zhuang


Department of Linguistics
The University of Hong Kong


The Department of Linguistics will offer a semester-long proficiency
course in
Zhuang. Zhuang is the language of the largest minority group in
China, and is
spoken mainly in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. The
course,
organized by Dr. Adams Bodomo, will be taught by Ms. Penny Pan,
a native Zhuang
speaker who obtained her Master of Arts degree from the College of
Ethnology
and Sociology of Guangxi University for Nationalities.

Time: Monday, 1.00 p.m. - 2.00 p.m.
Venue: Room 107, Main Building
Date of first class: Monday, September 6
Fees: None
