Oh man!!! had a really wonderful wed lecture on general biology. As this module have 2 lecture time slots, as i wont be able to make it on tue so i went for the wed one. I was so quite reluctant to go for the lecture cos it always make me sleep but I was wrong this time. As half of the modules was over, so the new lecturer for the second half of the lecturer came to take over. I was not expecting much from him.. cos science lecturer could not be any interesting. Only images of Albert Einstein with bombastic hair came to my mind.

Oh well, plus the topic was on plants. Not interesting, seem like I have learn about this creature biologically in sec sch days. Just a green piece of creature. heehee

Stepping into the LT, saw the not very special lecturer, an uncle, ordinary guy. I expect him to be churning out what is written in the lecturer to ask and expect us to search for missing information which he has "accidentally" missed out in the lecture notes. Nowadays, lecturer are using these tactic to make us pay attention to their lecture by putting missing information. Still okie for me cos i seldom sleep but problem is they only flash the slides in few sec, call me how to copy that chunk out!!

OK, back to the very ordinary lecturer. Haha, the miracle came and he is going to make a debut mark on my Uni life. He start his lecturer by telling us that he feel that plant are so wonderful species, and he is inspired by her mum. He told us that her mum will make tonics for him using the herbs = plants. So the amazing part going to begin. He started to took out a bag of herbs to show us and enlarge them into the visualiser. He said that his mum is wise enough to use plant part to make tonic.. there were lotsa of herbs he brought (oops, dun really know the name of those so shall not perform my foolishness here with the wrong spelling), then what next: he started to throw all the herbs into a big bowl and said his mum is also wise to put animal part into it and ta la la .... a drumstick was taken out and put into the big bowl.. whaha!!! i mean a real one... a raw drumstick.. felt like i was watching my fav cooking show.. haha!!! Whole LT was shocked!!

Next, he asked another qn: What is a flower? That he took out a rose and said that last month v-day, girls must have received lotsa of it. So he pointed to a girl and asked her:

Amazing Lecturer aka AL: So why did your boyfriend give you flower?

Girl: I don't know, but you can ask my boyfriend
(and pointed to the guy beside him)

AL: So why do you give roses to her and not this
(He took out a huge sweet potato and all of us were humoured by him)

Guy: Becos is romantic

AL: Romantic and plus colourful right?
(Next ta la la... magician possessed him and he brought out a red kind of grass..whaha!!)

AL: Or issit because of the sweet-smelling taste?
(So guess what he brought out --> a bunch of pandan leaf haha!!!)

So comical him!!! For the rest of the lecture, he was acting like a magician. Bringing out lotsa of plant from his bag which is placed behind the lecturer desk. Haha.. so many surprises!! One minute is a pot of plant, another minute a frangipani, and next he went to the bactstage of the LT and bring out a .........banana leaf and next a coconut leaf!!! Such a huge one!! Hahaha!!!
He also used props like pipe and sponge to illustrate the inner structure of the plant!! So interesting and funny!!

All of us were whispering to one another : How can he move all this plants by himself into the LT??

Haha! But who cares! But he really make my day and top my rank of interesting lecturer. Finally one interesting one before I graduate. Computing lecturer are so lame and boring!! haha!! I will be expecting more from this guy. Great effort he put in to find those props, never waste taxpayer money this time.

Ok back to serious matter: My only mid term test.
A paper which can be easily scored full marks but the offer was not for me.
Becos... i was so careless!!! aiya aiya!!!!!!!!!!! damm damm damm.. shitty POS!!!! haiz.. why my carelessness still sling on to me.. frustrating!!

haha.. dunnoe what to write for my subject.

anyway this week... has been has been.... as usual as normal week.. whahaha!!
except i went for nus career fair and suntec career fair. nus one was quite disappointing which not many co. i like to work in.. more of engineering and IT stuff which both i hate.
after the visit i felt that engineer can really succeed with lotsa of job prospects around these days... my IT line is not bad too.. degree is useful but for me.. think not cos i am not the student with cap 3.5 and above which really have a great interest for them.

wonder why i dun study hard and excel in those modules i am taking... or else i will be earning like 2.5k or higher in future working in US plant or silicon valley..

had a interview on wed in a job agency.. the interviewee girl asked me what i am interest in... dunnoe why the word banking and finance and sales churn out from me.. and not IT.. haha

think is pretty common these days that grauduates dun really pursue job that they studied.

so girl like me, who is going to graduate with bachelor of computing is going to be in the sales line (pray i grad). The girl asked: "are u a competitive girl?"
I paused and said not really.. oops is that a politicall wrong ans..
oops.. that means that to be in sales line, u got to be competitive?
and asked lotsa of questions.... and blah blah.... then at the end of the day, she rang me up to go down for another interview with all my documents these time..is my career coming to me soon??

starting to do my online shopping cart project..
failure: dunnoe anything abt dreamweaver...so diff..maybe is for the stupid me.
Then i thot i am really a lousy designer.. cannot really decide what colour and design layout is right. Spend lotsa of time browsing what others are doing. I wonder in the end what my website would be like.

hectic week coming.....will i survive??

end of recess week.. think i am luckier than most pple cos they only have recess week to take a break which is only 4 days, but i have one day more cos fri is a free day for me.. still cant make out why nus want to give pple only 4 day week and not a full 5 day.. going back to sch on a fri is so "the"! nvm.. think i wont have to bother by it anymore since this is my last sem.
and i am so lucky to escape from the fee hike.. yes fee hike again from the sch admin side.. poor juniors... have to pay more..it has been a big hoo haa issue in NUS now.
haiz.. so stress abt job hunting.. really dunnoe what is the road for me leh... think i cant really use what i learn in Uni to put into prac use since i have no intent to be in IT line.. issit a waste??? will i get a job easily?? will the interviewee of my job ask me why, and my poor answer will make them reject me???
received call from a job agency, accounting that i did a survey with them, but i cant remembered anyway.. i got so excited and happy cos i was thinking abt my future and a glimpse of hope came from the call. She asked me for a interview on tuesday and will send me sms on the venue.. but waited a day no sms from the girl... disappointed.. shall call back to ask again.
like so despesrate now.. maybe from all the stress i am getting...job and job advert seeing from all places, adults toking and toking.. stress like hell man!!!
what to do? that's life!!

haha! started my day at 2.30pm.. haha!
PIGGY me only wake up at that time.. and started to go to sch library..for what?
yes, go search for books for the 66 project... still wondering what language should we use.. ASP, ASP.Net, JSP??? and what abt the database?? which one??
A bit blur too... so many technical stuff and i also which one is better, easier..
well, all the books left are quite old version so damm..
next we went to national library @ queenstown to borrow dreamweaver book and yes decided on ASP.Net so borrow one..
so my day was spent at the books environment!! aiyo... the system in library have changed... really wonder how the borrowing system works there... how they could scan the barcode with books facing up and there are no sign of sensor..can anyone enlighten me?

yeah!!!! I have finally UPDATE!!!!! pls forgive me.... cos the chance i can online in my hse is so damm minimal. Everyday came back will be quite late, catch some of my fav tv shows, then off to do the housework, yah i do them, becos i need to and oblige to. Then when i want to go online, my bro will be on it too. So sad that i was not fortunate enuff to have a router. Can anyone donate to Yanli & Co.? Pc will be my bro's only wonderful entertainment now since he is clearing leave now. Oh just helping him: anyone, be it family,frenz, frenz of friend need a tutor? My bro have lobangs. Feel free to let me know k. So ya.. no time to online.. think maybe quick check on my mailbox and that's it.. off to bed..
That's basically a routine for me.. doing hsework was tough.. really can relate to maid and mother. But now getting used to it.. but still has the fear of getting clothes stained by other clothes....so need to hand wash them. My poor delicate hand no more.

ok enuff of my boring life.. ok now to my yet another no so interesting one - academic life
what i can say is that this sem is much more smooth sailing than last sem. No more 3214 module which make me hard to breathe. But there are 1280 and 3266 to worry about. One have programming lab and the latter a big projects... other semster also seem slack in disguise. One require need me to transform into Jay and write midi.. next is the bombing of real difficult term in bio...and next the clone of 3253. So i think is still a tough sem for a last sem for an undergrad.
I am now starting to miss school day cos i know i wont be getting free days between mon to fri and no more sleeping in lectures in like 3 months time.. how sad :(. Really wonder whether i can survive.. but yet i dream on getting my first pay and get all the things i want with my hard earned money. So ironic.. heehee.. ignore me!! keke

Next up will be my love life:
Here come the annual commercialised Vday! Haha!! Not really plan to celebrate on vDay itself cos we still have lab to do.. and the real celebration will take place on sun.but u see since the lab deadline was extended so the lazy us decided to go somewhere to celebrate. But before going out of NUS. A supposed surprise by boy was being spoil by the witted and clever and smarty me.. haha!!! too bad... next time act smarrted to outsmart k.
we went HK Cafe in East Coast Rd to have a simple meal... serve quite special food there.. not bad a try

okie.. so we had our real celebration itself.. went to rollerblade. Been yrs we went together. Should be 17 months ago.. haha!! Keep up the good work boy. Better blade along with me not always I in front or behind u .. haha!!
We chose Olio Dome to have dinner. Nice food that make me real full with pizza, pasta, soup, gelato and the big basket of wedges.. omg!!! Did i say that i am putting weight this day.. evidence= from those cheek of mine... cant imagine the fats start to cling on me again. Sad and depressed. Fats Fats go away, dont come again even on any other day!! Eat less!! or else i will stop taking pictures.

Haha! finally get to take the course for this sem. Have been losing my luck with this for the past sem..either my timetable clash or came to late and it got all booked. I made it a point to traverse myself to a sporty ger every thurs. Oh no. Attended 4 lessons and pong one.. cos of CNY blues. Oh no.. kickboxing is really tough that need me to on spring mode eveyone now and then. So they are not my fav move. Mine is the lying down move which allow me to stretch to the fullest!! Shiok!! haha!! boliao me
Hope more results will be seen after the course ended.. but i doubt so since is just only a 1 week affair which i can easily waste my effort by going to have heavy dinner after that, which i always did.. haha!

yet another friend have left for studies. My S6 becoming smaller and smaller. We sent miss aggie off to hoopasloombas land yesterday. sorry cant really spelled it. According to her is a place full of flowers and a 1 & 1/2 hr to brisbane. Sad moment yesterday, seeing her crying everytime she saw friend and family coming by to send her off. Be independent ger, one yr will be gone soon.
Oh yah, not to forget another chic in USA now, come back soon k or else someone will keep teasing off behind ya back. whahaha!!
