I’m so glad that the biggest loser is on tonight. I was starting to lose my motivation on the treadmill. I try and try for that mile, but I just can’t seem to make it past a half mile without wanting to just give in to my need to stop. I am going to continue to push myself until I can make my mile goal. I miss the days when I was sixteen years old. I used to walk 3 miles a day and loved it. That was a while ago. I stopped because I got bit by a dog.

Last night I went online to see how much a new treadmill would cost and I found something for $129. It’s a manual one. Well we went to Meijer to see if we could find it in store, so I wouldn’t have to order it off the internet. While in the store I found a stair stepper machine on sale from $230 to $80.50. Mom loaned me the money for it, I’ll pay her off next month.

It’s nifty. It’ll tell you a variety of things like your heart rate, speed, distance and calories burned. I got a good deal.

I spent today getting the parts I needed and fixing my elliptical or as I like to call it, stepper exercise thingy. I could not find just rollerblade wheels, so I bought a pair of rollerblades. A part of what makes the pedals move are the wheels on the guide. One of the wheels when I bought it was busted and chipping off the main piece. In the end, I still saved over ½ of what it used to cost. It has cost me $100 total [it approximately cost me $20 to fix it] and the original price was $230.

I’ve got some more good news! Mom won an ebay auction for a treadmill and since it is pick up only she’s leaving tomorrow to go get it with a friend of hers that has a pick up truck. It’s a little over 2 hour drive one way. Since I’m staying home I should be thankful for that time. I have a lot of people to email about advertising. I should be able to get them all done at once during the day tomorrow. I was a little disappointed about not going, but I think it’s mostly for the best.

Last night was my first night back on my exercise routine and it felt great. I walked a mile, which my legs didn’t hurt one bit after that. It was pouring sweat down my face, otherwise I could’ve kept going. It felt so good to be able to manage that. I remember on the other treadmill how hard it was to make it that far. I think the cushioned thing under where I walk on the treadmill helps a lot. I went the mile at the speed of 2.3 mph too. It’s not too fast, yet it’s not too slow.

Hello! I am running behind tonight by a lot. I sold my elliptical thingy to a friend. It was sitting in the garage anyway, and he was wanting one. I told him he could have it for $20. Considering how much I paid and put into it, that’s 1/20th of what I paid but it’s something. Hell I probably would have given it away for free just to be rid of it. The thing made me mad before I put it away and we got the treadmill. I’m glad to say that he’s happy with it. And I am happy.
